than Phil Simms. Of course he's correct but Jones has his own issues reading defenses and feeling the rush and sliding in the pocket. I'm not sure a QB ever "learns" that.

Every JAG DE has a career game vs Giants. Every week. For the last 5 seasons. They all look like premium all pro edge rushers. They know it may be the only sacks they get all year so they make the most of it.

Jones is constantly throwing off his back foot because he has someone in his face....

We got some pressure on Wentz, but there were so many players where he could take his time and make something happen. I can't remember a play where Jones didn't have someone in his face or hitting him a split seconds after he releases a pass. It's infuriating.

He also is willing to take a lickin' and keep on tickin. He is tough and takes hit. Many hits as his o line sucks and his LT blows so far.

At this time he is the least of the Giants' many problems.

If you're an edge rusher who's going to be a FA after the season, playing the Giants could allow you to get some easy sacks and make a lot more money.

Was QB with this line. Might be 10 sacks a game.

I love his poise, I think he is accurate. The ball needs to stop hitting the turf. Before you go and make an excuse for the fumble that happened last night. Don't. It has happened too often for it to be a statistical anomaly. He has to clean that up. I also disagree that the pass to Engram was perfect. Engram should have caught it, I agree, but it would have been a good catch. I re-watched it a few times. Finger tips. There is a possibility he has every single thing to be a franchise QB except the absolutely mandatory feel for the pass rush. He deserves more time before we move on but at some point you have to admit that the fumbling needs to be curtailed. It is unsustainable at the current rate.

But I thought he played well last night.

....but it's totally rare that I see him drop back and step up....because he can't.

Almost all our passes are drop back and boom......throw the pass.

It's rare we have a drop back where he can scan and go thru progressions without backing up or being flushed.

Luckily his athletcism allows him some relief.......

Some of them, stopped being objective a while ago. I think they dislike DG to the pt. they want the kid to fail rather than admit they re wrong.
