You lost me. I think you're asking if there are teams around the league that may want our players. I think the answer is yes. Guys like Engram, Tomlinson and Zeitler will be wanted.
I hear it from the announcers in every broadcast. Still waiting for one single game for it to be true.
Engram might, just might, still thrive in this system — but he's got to catch the damn ball. If he'd caught that ball on Thursday and had a big gain, we'd all be talking about him differently.
I think the Giants are making progress, but there are a bunch of guys on the offense (well, actually, almost everyone on the offense) who seem to be having trouble with basic execution. It's a weird year, teaching time was limited, practice reps were reduced, but even so I can't imagine Joe Judge will put up with that for long.

"Engram's value" might be an oxymoron at this point. Why would you want a fast TE that cant block and cant catch?
Zeitler you have a point, but he still carries a 2.5 mill dead money hit if you cut him after this year.
DT is a UFA after the season so he would be a rental.
All told, we arent getting shit for any of them. Prob would rather just keep DT and EE (yea I know) based on his option number

Engram sucks. No one is giving up more than a 6th or 7th round pick for him. He’s another “athlete” pick. A slightly better Travis Beckum. He’s either injured, running crap routes, missing blocks, or dropping passes. With the occasional big play here or there. He’s the definition of an enigma.
2.5 seasons -worth of games. Worst team in the league in total the past 3 seasons.
He’s a bad GM. Period. Time has passed him by (if there was a time he was good). Anyone who continues to defend Gettleman and accept this abuse is masochistic. Things LITERALLY cannot get any worse 😂 what could anyone possibly be afraid of if we get rid of Gettleman 🤣

Please do not insult Travis Beckum with that comparison. Beckum stayed on the bench; Engram gets in the game and loses the game for the team, much worse.

This is what I keep coming back to. If he had caught that pass....then we are celebrating how they finally used his properly on a throw downfield and how we can keep going back to this in the future.
But he didnt, so he is a waste case to be given to any team willing to give up a happy meal a Mickey D's. ONE PASS.....shows the razor thin margin between winning and losing in this league.
I dont see any advantage to moving him now. If he is as bad as everyone says he is, why sell low??? If nothing else, at least he can get open, unlike most Giants whose job is to catch the ball. Id hang on to him for now, HOPE that he can have at least one or two good games, then try and move him post season prior to the draft...could be the difference between getting back a 4th rounder vs a 6th.
There have apparently been rumors flying around about

The mismatch being that that he is a TE but runs routes like a tackle eligible?

Will Gettleman bite?
