I found Schiavone a huge asshole when he was in the NFL. But he has done good work at Rutgers and I’m glad everyone realized that RU is his sweet spot. Fun to watch when they excel.

I remember Coughlin getting in his face after we beat the Bucs because they tried some shananagins during the final kneel down
I was there when they beat MSU in 2004. Was that the last time?
Friend of mine was on that team. Hopped the fence and onto the field and stumbled into someone. Looked up and it was James Gandolfini. I just remember thinking "Ohhh shit thats Tony Soprano" and I must've looked scared because he laughed and said "Its fine, relax". I also ended up at the same bar as him that night, he bought a few rounds. Always had a great time visiting Rutgers.
Rutgers beat maryland in 2017. that was last victory
Have a few friends that played there during the first Schiano era. One of the best sports experiences in my life was being there and storming the field when they beat Louisville in '06. They may have a few draft prospects for the '22 class as well.
Making a big impact on the defense, how they’re ripping the ball out, and ‘recruiting’ the transfers. It’s night and day from last year. Everything sucks in 2020, except the change and improvement with RU Football.
there and workman-like offenses. He's got them back to working hard. Always good to see Rutgers excel, but I'm not do sure they're good enough for the Big 10. They'd be better off in another conference.
It felt like there were opportunities for MSU to get back in it
You turn it over 7 freaking times and you won’t beat...well, Rutgers. Tucker’s idiotic decision to go for it in FG range when we pulled within 8 on a 4th and 3, trying to run? Rivera-esque. Take the 3.
RU had great play from their NT, Avery and Fogg. They ran to the ball and worked for the strip. On O their play calling was smart.
Football sucks anymore. I need to watch cricket or some sport I don’t care about. This is going to give me ass polyps on my eyes.
I am from Connecticut so not from New Jersey but I am a northeast guy and I have always wanted to see SOMEONE have a successful program in the northeast. Schiano got the closest and maybe he can do it again. Things have gone backwards over the years for the northest. Syracuse has dropped more than a few notches and BC made the idiotic decision to join the ACC. Would love to see talented kids from the northeast have an option to "stay home". Pulling for Rutgers and Schiano. You can say what you want about the 7 turnovers but who is running the show matters! Good luck Greg and here's hoping a little bit of good college football returns to the northest.
As good as that win was for the program pay attention to their mens's basketball team this season. That coach can coach. they are going to be a force in the Big 10

It wasn’t a lucky bounce. It was a bunch of guys on defense ripping the ball out and hitting to cause the TOs.
