the Jets get Lawrence, somebody might give them a #2 for Darnold. Teams are desperate for QBs. I could see somebody taking a chance on him for a relatively low investment. It's just that it would be ironic considering that Jets fans thought they had finally found their QB in Darnold.
throw by Ben, but yeah, he's won two SB, is a HOF QB, and is playing a 5 - 0 team on the road. He's playing with house money at this point in his career.

a)I will never understand why, on BBI, any level of criticism, no matter how justified, is almost always termed "shitting on".
b)Ben has two rings. That buys a QB an awful lot of leeway.
Two rings buys you nothing when you make a rookie error. A 16 year vet should know better to not force a ball like that when he had a crossing pattern wide open that may have got the 1st down and at worst got them a try for 3 points.
And yes Jones deserves the criticism but Ben deserves it more.

Why does everyone think TL is going to solve all of the Jets problems? Is he going to play defense, coach, play special teams block catch and run too? They're not losing games specifically because of Darnold

Agreed. The only big differece is these two are on winning teams.
Josh Allen makes a helluva lot more big plays than Daniel Jones does. Sorry if that is a fact you don't want to admit.
Allen is playing with loads more talent than Jones.
Exactly. Jones playing behind a nice offensive line, with a starting caliber RB, and receivers who can create separation, is a pretty good QB. Looking forward to seeing how he plays the rest of the year. I don't think we will be in a position to take Lawrence or Fields anyway.
Take the FG and go up by 6. I appreciate being aggressive but you just made this an easily tileable game the would have been twice as difficult if you take the FG
And while the Bills have better talent than the Giants (who doesn't?) let's not act as if they're the '80s Niners or anything on offense. A lot of their success rests on Allen's physical gifts.
But acting shocked and outraged that an unproven second year QB gets more flak for it than a future HOFer is silly.
Bullshit. A 2X SB champ and 16 year vet absolutely knows better than to throw that kind of pass with a FG in hand at 2 minutes..you have your reasoning backward. The 2nd year player should get more leeway - and yet he should know as well. Anyway IMHO
NFW. Gano is worth keeping.
How about call Dallas and see if they will give a 2nd Rounder for Colt McCoy
Yeah, I hope the Jets don't get Lawrence.
In other news, imagine what it must be like for Darnold. He knows that. It is poetic for him in this regard.

is awful. I know it's unlikely, but what if they ended up with the #1 pick and of course took Lawrence? The whole board would meltdown.
There's no doubt Jimma would take Lawrence if he had the chance, but I don't think Dallas will end up with the #1 selection.
Winning a game puts you out of reach to get Lawrence.
Josh Allen fumbles as much if not more than Jones

How many Super Bowls has Jones won.

The Steelers would make sense

Tried to tell them this was a downgrade at the coaching position. This isn’t just a downgrade it’s falling off a cliff. Mike Nolan and McCarthy lol
Nolan was a horrific hire. I have no idea why McCarthy chose him. They aren't going to win another game at this point.
McCarthy was Nolan's OC in San Francisco.

Josh Allen plays on a vastly superior team to Jones.
