Really shows how important a good pass catching TE means to an offense. Some day maybe the Giants will have one
Very good point. Look at the league and TE is now a major factor. We have an athlete not a TE. Look around the league and most teams have 1 bigger WR and 1 undersized chain mover. We have three very similar WR's in Slayton, Sheppard and Tate. We need a jump ball, body guy and a quick underneath guy to get those crucial 3rd downs.

Please stop. You are making too much sense. Mara asked his front office the other day if it was still 1959
when you realize what we spent for a position that requires 5 other guys (at a min) to provide any real chance of success. Now he will be coming off injury and we still are working on that line.

You would think it wouldn't take a genius to make a serviceable offensive line in three seasons of work.
Looking forward to more Justin Herbert development..
The NFC East will come down to week 17.. Crazy how bad the division is.
Patriots are a shell of their former selves.

You mean it’s not Evan Engram?
Brady is still quite good. Can throw winning passes, medium range, with real zip, into tight windows.

I did mention catching. Engram is not an example of a TE
They look really good

Something we have been horrible about for years!
they're missing Brady right about now..
Bill and Brady were a magic combo.. it will be hard for either to win a SB without the other.
Great scheme, great play calling, great coach.
A total understanding by Shanahan that RBs are everywhere if you know how to properly evaluate them. Chip off the old block...

It comes down to identity. Since 2012, John Mara has let it erode to the point where the only attribute is losing.
Big deal. We have a gold jacket generational running back!!!
That stupid ass is making $10 Million per year. How much is your brilliant aaa making?

9ers are ripping through the Pats with undrafted RBs Jeff Wilson and JaMichael Hasty.

Excellent point. Gold > wins.
He's been terrible since he came back from covid.
to paraphrase some of the kids on this board.. Herbert "is the goods". But in this case it's really true.
