with an achilles injury today too (gotta be a season ender). Tough day for the stars of 2016. Hopefully they recover as quickly and effectively as possible.
RE: He was very good for the Browns this year.....
Dont anyone hurt even if he did have a roller coaster of a ride here. I disagree on a good year. He had record lows in yards, targets and receptions per game this year. Statistically he was on pace to have his worst season by miles

Exactly. Plus he's a cancer in the locker room. Notice how much they played better when he left.
Sad to think that Beckham really only had 3 great years

While that may be true, he looked fully back. The statistics were because the Browns are trying to be a run first football team.
RE: RE: He was very good for the Browns this year.....
No Giants player on the offense (at their best) has ever scared the crap out of the opponent the way OBJ did.
I mean, Tiki in 2005 had three 200-yard rushing games.
Tiki was never in the "if this guy touches the ball it'll be a big play" zone like Beckham was.
who cares? That lasted for what will be a fraction of OBJs career.
Said this 100 times... the guy is not making the hall of fame either. For whatever reason.. what is between his ears or his injuries. The first injury when he was with the Giants took away some of his quickness. Now, let's see what this knee does to him.
Barkley may not be the same either when he eventually comes back.
unfortunate neither was ever the same after 2017. Crazy thinking back to 2016 and it seemed like we had 2 all pro player of the year candidates who'd be leading the team for a real long time.
RE: Feel bad for both he and Collins but glad they both got paid

I thought Collins was the guy who would be good for a long time. I had a feeling "something" was going to go wrong with Odell. Could not say what and I would not have predicted this. I was thinking it would be more of a meltdown thing mentally. Similar to what we saw with Antonio Brown.
To me, OBJ's injury history was one of the strongest reasons for
While that may be true, he looked fully back. The statistics were because the Browns are trying to be a run first football team.
I do agree he looked fine physically, but while the team is more run oriented he looks like an afterthought in the offense save for one game. Among the other stata I mentioned he is also at a career low in catch percentage and his YAC is a mere 47 yards on the year. That's almost 200th in the league. Best of luck to him in his recovery, but I'm not sure how much of a career he will have left if this is his acl
I am not happy he was injured, and saw the play live.
It looked like he was really busting it to make the tackle on the INT.
That said, I know I was not looking forward to the game late this season against Cleveland where I could see the announcers making a big deal about every catch he made and how the Giants traded him away...just repeatedly drubbing that in for 3 hours.
Hopefully OBJ will be able to resume his career and this is not a Cruz like injury.
But he has not had the career or the year he did when he was in NY. I mean not even close.
Exciting player and I wish we still had him - I’d think Danny dimes would love to take the top off with him quite a bit
While I wasn't astonished when it was happening, if you told me in 2016 that OBJ would be a disappointment and never sniff the year he had that year ever again, I would have called you a moron.
be another leg injury for him and the most serious.
Speculation is a torn ACL.
Is it the same leg that he has injured in the past?
I don't know what leg he hurt today
It doesn't matter, lower leg injuries beget lower leg injuries. Pulled Hamstring, broken ankle, torn quad, core muscle surgery and and a probable ACL. It's getting worse and it will not improve, his best days are long long gone. His big game this year? Almost walked down by another amputee in Jaylon Smith. He cooked the Cowboys, big deal so did a rookie WR/RB project from Memphis on a terrible team. The guy is shot.
In 62 years of watching pro ball, other than Barry Sanders, I've never seen a guy with his feet.
As a receiver, coming off his breaks it was like he was ice skating and the opponent wearing cement over-shoes.
Well said, I agree ... almost Gale Sayers like at times but I never understood what could possibly be going on between his ears ... the hair, the antics, the off the field stuff with LSU ... sheesh.
HOF career slowly unravelling and now dropping like a rock.
in Cleveland - still proved he can make plays, big plays.
This will be a major obstacle for him to overcome. But, prior to the injury - he had a lot of high level ballin left in him, even if he wasn't as fast as he was when he first entered the league.
Yeah it was
He had one good game...

and Browns will most definitely feel his loss.

Certainly not the OBJ we knew, but he was helping their passing game.

Baker had a career day with him out.
Once an awesome player, but injuries have ruined him.

What? Did you ever watch him play? Tiki regularly completely took over games.
