Robbie— meaning Njoku is really bad? I would think that means this could be a doable trade then given they’re both so bad right? If I had to choose I’d still probably go Njoku simply because he’s a better blocker and even if he doesn’t get open as well as Engram at least he can catch. I’d rather have a guy who can’t get open then a guy who gets open and drops everything... the latter is more likely to draw a lot of targets, but they’re wasted targets because he drops them. I’d rather take my chances with Njoku who Danny can maybe throw open once in a while with his solid ball placement. Idk if you had to pick one or the other you’d still go Engram though?

That's why I said both teams lose. They each will have some false sense of optimism for their TE position when in reality.. they are both no better off.
I choose Titanic. Drowning or freezing to death is far better than being trapped in an inferno and burning alive.
You might want to re-think that choice. Only 712 survived out of 2,208 that were on the Titanic. In contrast, 62 out of 97 people survived the Hindenburg disaster!
But they have both been disappointments. Njoku has some pretty-boy in him...cares more about his hair than he does his skill set.
As disappointing as Engram has been, he still is a threat when he gets the ball in his hands. Njoku sucks both as a blocker and a receiver. In fact the entire suggestion of trading a disappointing player for a player who has been 5 times more disappointing is silly to even consider.

Unfortunately when you prove over and over again that you cannot get it done... you are no longer a "threat". The opposition likely is more concerned with virtually every other eligible WR on the field than they are Engram.

Still quite a bit better than what Njoku brings to the table. Which is really nothing.
Look, we are all mad at Engram not being able to squeeze the ball against the Eagles. But lets not lose all sense here. Njoku has been basically 3rd string for his team averaging about 20 snaps a game (less than 40% of his team's offesnse). He's got 7 catches. Engram is getting far more burn with the btwn 85 and 90% of the offensive snaps. That number has recently started to go down for whatever reason. But the straight up comparison is laughable.
Blaming Engram has become a meme for drama queens.
Can't believe people would rather blame Engram for a "loss" when the defense gagged on an 11 point lead in 5 minutes.
Or just people who don't like to sugarcoat anything about players who screw the pooch and stall drives with their costly drops constantly. Even with round-the-clock oddball defending of these terrible players, it's still fun to put out the truth.
What's with these weird obsessions with putting words in "quotes", by the way? You can keep standing up for these ineffective players for years on end and quote your way to a 3 win season year after year.
"Loss"... It was a loss. Giants have plenty of them over the years thanks to players like Engram. Thank God he's just healthy enough to drop more easy passes and score all his 0 touchdown receptions this year.
The defense sucks a fat one too but giving Engram ANOTHER pass is just dimwitted.
Well, as of October 25th of this very season, he has played in every game.
Such a great contributor to the team....
