Bucs WR Chris Godwin will be OUT against us

Bucs WR Chris Godwin fractured his left index finger making a touchdown catch Sunday at Las Vegas that required surgery Tuesday. He will miss Monday Night’s game against the Giants. Depending on how it heals, he could return for the Week 9 game vs. New Orleans

That's big for us. Godwin against whoever is our #2 CB this week would have been a disaster.

So it will be Antonio Brown against CB2?

I think.

Bucs drafted a very interesting player in the 5th round this year from Minnesota - WR, Tyler Johnson. I saw him play in one of the Bucs games this year and he looked pretty good.

We have all 1:00 games the rest of the way except for alate game in Seattle in early December. Wouldn't anticipate any games being flexed either. SO early pain every week practically the rest of the way

I don't expect this game to be competitive.

The Bucs are good. The Giants are... not. But I'd be happy to be wrong.

The Bucs are definitely in win-now mode, which is interesting to me. Brady can't play that many more years. They may be working to develop Rosen so he can step in when Brady is done there, but Rosen has a long way to go to be even as good as 43-year-old Tom Brady. They have a short window and it's open right now.
