I want our ERs to come from the draft. I want them to grab a few, like they did in 2020 for the OL. I want the best ER in the draft with our first pick unless DJ bombs the rest of the year, then I want Lawrence or Fields. Really warming up to Fields.
I see a few WR and TEs that would make sense at the right price. Jones is accurate, focus on hands. Hunter Henry would cost more than I would like but he can fucking block and catch. I like that in a TE and it has been MISSING here for a while. JuJu would look good in Blue and should not get OBJ money.
Anyway, what are your thoughts?

I am good with this list too.
WR: Keelan Cole/Demarcus Robinson + Draft one in 2nd or 3rd

LB: Bud Dupree (if not him, Shaq Barrett) + Fackrell + Jayon Brown
DB: Logan Ryan + Mike Hilton
Draft -- Sewell/Parsons in the 1st, WR and CB in 2nd and 3rd

Build through the draft from there
Corner: Kevin King - big fan of his out of Washington, which has become a "Corner U" for prospects. I think Green Bay has one of the better corner pairs in the NFL along Alexander.
T: Always been a fan of Ronnie Staley. May command be dollars, but I think he's a top 5-8 T in the league.
C/G: Austin Blythe
RBs: Malcolm Brown and Philip Lindsey. Lindsey is sneaky good, but may want a bigger role somewhere else. Brown is a tough short yardage guy.

Like this list but I would not bring in a backup unless you can get one of these guys on a real bargain (i'd say $6M or less)
IMO you take a QB this year in the draft, any team that isn't developing a backup on a rookie contract IMO is not using their assets well. Love what Philly did this year with Hurts. Especially if you can work them into certain formations right away and they offer different skills than your current QB it's a great use of draft capital IMO.
From your keyboard to God's ears - I would be all in.

QB might not make sense where we pick but i'd rather give a guy a chance that has some shot at being QB of the future than someone we just have as a backup.
IMO the only time you should spend resources on a backup QB is if you have a great QB on a lower priced deal and have super bowl aspirations ala Nick Foles
not a chance

I get it. Just sizing it up if the brass thinks Jones is that guy...which I think is fairly guaranteed with this bunch.
I certainly think Lawrence and Fields have more upside. If we only win 2 games I could get behind drafting a new QB. Jones needs to show some growth in the second half of this year.

I actually agree that you have to see more. If we can take Lawrence I think we've seen enough to say move on from Jones. Lance is very intriguing too, I'm not as sold on Fields but that's the kind of thing that much like Josh Allen you'd want the Giants to have some insight on if he can be a star in the NFL even if as fans we can't see.
Which is why I think a healthy middle ground is bringing in a QB in ~3rd round to compete with Jones. I'm not sure what handing the job over to Tyrod Taylor does for us next season.
Anthony Harris 15m/yr 3 years?
Hunter Henry 9m/yr 3-5years?
Dalvin Tomlinson 9m/yr 5 years?
If they will come back on the cheap...
Logan Ryan
Fackrell
Austin Johnson
Graham Gano
Also on my list, but can't sign everyone...
Haason Reddick 11m/yr
Bud Dupree 17m/yr?? 20m/yr???
I would look for a #2 CB, but without knowing the price tag its pointless to make a list. Everything is game here, a Ross Cockrell type signing to trading with Miami for Howard.
Oh and if somehow they became available I'd find a way to splurge for....LT Alejandro Villanueva or Ronnie Stanley or even Cam Robinson.
Juju is going to make a lot of $
Thomas-Hernandez-Gates-Lemiuex-Peart
Bye-bye Solder, Zeitler & perhaps Fleming
Second, it goes without saying that D. Jones must be the clear cut QB of the future.
Third, we need an ER cause this defense is closer than most think IF the young DB's develop: McKinney, Holmes.
Fourth, we need a WR cause Tate is gone; Shepard is always hurt; and, we have no young guys outside of Slayton.
Fifth, regardless of where we draft in the Top 5, we must pick a guy who can play and play well. Same for the 2nd round.
I believe we will see a roster purge with a new GM but the same staff.

Juju seems to have lost some of mojo since Brown left. A lot easier to be the #2 when the #1 has HoFame skills.
I say he's not worth big dollars. He's got 32 receptions this year for 8.7YPC. BFD.

No we have 6. grabbed another with Arizona trade this week.

in the 2021 draft. If Jones is deemed the guy - still - you can't use any of those five on a QB. NFW.

I stand corrected - you are right.
Dalvin Tomlinson

Gallman
Tomlinson or L. Williams...
Gallman if he continues like last Thurs night,
L. Ryan is cost sensitive, but love to bring him back if possible.
Adrian Colbert has played well
Kreiter the LS has been perfect, need him and Gano as a team
Austin Johnson definitely!
Golladay is intriguing as an FA acquisition.
I love him. Dynamic playmaker that’s all over the field and can rush the passer.

Micah Parsons is #1 on my wishlist.

I'm a PSU fan and second that. Parsons is the real deal. I think his skills are ideal for today's game where you have to really run sideline to sideline and be a great tackler.
Top ten prospect for sure...and very likely top five.
I'd target Robinson or Golladay. Both perfectly compliment Slayton and Shephard and I wouldn't classify either as products of an explosive offense. They're safe with a ceiling imo. It's ok to shop the top of the market when it fits, these guys fit.
