The Post has learned that Hizzoner called MLB commissioner Rob Manfred earlier this month and told him outright that he opposed the idea of a hedge-fund billionaire buying a local team and would be using his oversight power of the city’s control of the Citi Field lease to prevent the sale from being finalized.
A source inside City Hall confirmed to The Post that de Blasio did call Manfred, but said the mayor’s message to the MLB commish was “very close to what the mayor has been saying publicly.”
“The ‘due diligence’ line is bulls–t,” a source familiar with City Hall told The Post. “He’s told [Major League] Baseball he doesn’t want Cohen and he’s told his Law Department to find a way to stop it.”
A source close to the so-called “J-Rod group” told The Post they think de Blasio wants to derail the Cohen deal and also believe he can. They see a glimmer of hope in the mayor’s machinations over Citi Field.
That glimmer, however, seems very dim.
“De Blasio can make this ugly and he can even try to stop it,” said one lawyer with knowledge of the situation. “But he has no real standing, and Cohen will sue him. And Cohen will win.” Link - ( New Window )
that I would bet on the Mets being good but I also would also call them as likely to cheat is some way with Cohen at the helm. Given how he ran his fund I think it is completely legitimate for the mayor to say maybe we don't want this for our team.
Now as a fan i'd be pissed off, but I see both perspectives.
decisions begin in...4 days. So even a lawsuit would be a disaster for the upcoming off-season. This has to be done now or the Mets are in trouble... as always.

Right - you need to read the entire article. Sounds like Cohen would ultimately prevail.
"sticking it to billionaires" always makes me smile...
Yeah, gotta love it...politicians attacking millionaires until they themselves become millionaires from corruption. Then they go after billionaires. A great American tradition
This strikes me as stupid politically too. Then again, I know next to nothing about NYC politics/NY politics other than de Blaio hates Cuomon & vice versa.
de Blasio drags this out and the more publicity it gets, the less I'd be willing to work with him if I were Cohen, in fact I'd make his life a living hell. If he just shut up about it and extorted some money for his "foundation" if I were Cohen I would have simply gone along with it just for the sake of keeping it easy.
But, sure people like Stan like to stick it to billionaires (for some unknown reason to me other than I guess jealousy), but reading what I have about Cohen and watching every episode of Billions he's not someone I'd prefer to have as an enemy.

Politically it doesn’t matter for him. Everyone I know (of all political affiliations) hates him already. Plus he is termed out November 2021
and despite being someone with liberal political views, cannot stand BDB and his clown show administration. Having prefaced everything with that, WTF is the rationale behind this, and why does the Citifield lease somehow give big bird the power to do this?
Maybe they'll ask the Yankees if they can share that place up in the Bronx? Sharing a stadium....what a novel idea. First time in sports, should work fine....oh, wait...
in the lease that says the city can refuse the lease being transferred to someone who has been convicted of a felony or another crime show low moral turpitude or something like that.
Cohen, however, has not been convicted of any crime.
I don’t want to hear innuendo or gossip or shit like “he doesn’t want some billionaire hedge fund guy owning the mets”. Bullshit. What’s the mayor’s reasoning behind this crusade of his? He has to have a legit reason no?
in a world of stupid assholes Delasio seems intent on being the
Not because I hate the Mets, but because of when political figures feel the need to gratuitously inject themselves in issues that are really not immediately germaine to their job function.
I would think his time would be better spent with the other issues NYC is facing.
I hope this isn't considered "political" per the rules. The thread referred to a political figure and I didnt think I took a side. If otherwise mods, please feel free to delete my post. Was just commenting on the mayor's involvement with the Mets sale.
...as a humble Mets fan that just wanted a reason to root for this team. This Cohen was a dangled carrot. If this deal falls because of this, just fold the team. This would be devastating - I respect the Yankees but can't just switch. I'll watch baseball as I did the World Series.

hates everything about NYC. Yet, the morons of the city voted this putz into office.
Yup. Lot of people who cry about how much he sucks voted for him twice. (don’t know about people on this board, but I know plenty of people in NYC who did and now scream about how awful he is).
over the past few years De Blasio has managed to pull off the rare trick of getting of nearly all political beliefs to hate him...and that was before this nonsense.
If he’ll switch his name back to Warren Wilhelm Jr. to avoid the embarrassment of the terrible legacy he left behind. Probably flee back to Nicaragua again when all is said and done.

It really is uncanny. Lol, NO one wants likes this guy.
I don't know how well known this is so if it's common knowledge I apologize but apparently Cohen is a big time insider trader. Not exactly someone I'd want owning my team.

Since you're not a Mets fan you don't have to worry about it, but thank you for your concern.

Oh yeah, that's it...the Mayor is just being altruistic! Are you fucking kidding me? You think that fuck has any care in the world about cheating/potential cheating in baseball? He's either a) getting greased by competing wannabe ownership groups, or b) he has some ax to grind with Cohen. Either way, he'd a piece of shit and I hope Cohen absolutely wrecks him in court if it comes to that.
If its truly Jeff Wilpon behind this, then Cohen could just sit tight and sit for the Wilpon's to default on the debt. He might start late doing things for the team this year, but so be it.

Plus de Blasio is out next November.
Do you really think it's jealousy and not the fact the further up the totem pole you get the more likely you are to find sociopaths? This is a pretty well-documented fact. I don't know what is about the older generation and the fetishization of the rich, but there's just way too much transparency these days to not believe that a lot of these guys are assholes.
Has anyone ever met someone who actually likes De Blasio?
Ever in history? He was our City Councilman in Brooklyn back in the day, and he was fine as a City Councilman. (I knew him slightly.) He's in way over his head as Mayor, unfortunately - has neither the skills nor the temperament for the job. And this stuff with Cohen is ridiculous.

I don't know, but I never once felt "yeah, let's stick it to the billionaire" in my life and I do think sure in order to amass that much wealth you have to have at least some eccentricities - not sure about being a sociopath though - some I'm sure have a conscience.
And billionaires, a small group, are the target of a lot of vitriol, but rarely do the spewers of said vitriol consider the number of people who are employed and make their living, feed their families, etc. because of the risks the billionaires took along the way (and still) building their businesses.
but to avoid this thread going off the rails I won't comment more than that.
out of the goodness of their hearts. If it was like that income inequality wouldn't have absolutely skyrocketed. They do what they can to keep as much control and power as they can, which at their point you have to have a certain disregard for your fellow man. Trust me the elites don't look at you the way you look at them. A lot of them don't even consider us people.
I think you have been brainwashed honestly, can;t even bring yourself
to call them sociopaths, but eccentricities. This stuff is all pretty well documented and a quick google search will give you numerous studies over the years.

I don't look at "them" any way people are unique and each is different from the other. people deserve to be treated as humans and judged as individuals (if they must be judged - which I try not to do)
And no I don't think they are magnanimous, but without risk takers and entrepreneurs there are just far less opportunities for the rest of us.
that is a fact.
I don't begrudge anyone for maximizing their wealth nor do I expect anything altruistic from anyone.
I'm not talking about risk takers and entrepreneurs
I think that's the issue. Billionaires and multi-multi millionaires have successfully branded themselves in the same class as small business owners who generally are good people. Most fortunes have been built on shady and unscrupulous practices. And it still blows my mind that people have a fundamental misunderstanding of how marginal tax brackets work and thats done on purpose. I worked in the business side of healthcare for a couple years and the whole entire industry is gross and many fortunes have been built on the suffering of others. And then they put messaging out there to give fundamental mistruths about it.
And I'm sad to read your second part. The world would be a much better place if we did expect those things of others and held them accountable. This is why I have some faith in the younger generations, they seem to care much more about this stuff than the people that were born to parents of the depression era. I think all the resource guarding is an extension of a time when people were literally starving. The whole finish your plate mindset. I absolutely do find fault in people maximizing their wealth when so many others are suffering. It's disgustingly greedy. And if those billionaires all suddenly become millionaires there would be a lot more jobs for everyone and the wealth would be spread out more due to the increase in competition. The problem is they've cooked the game for themselves.

This is partially the difference between a capitalism and a socialism. Partially, but you grossly underestimate how much of the economy is fueled by the elite (1% or whatever you want to call it though billionaires is a very small group certainly not 1%) and you are very mistaken to say if you flatten the 1% the same impact will be felt. Income inequality is only a problem when the bottom is too low and "we" have brought more people out of poverty in the past 20 years than the 100 before that. The poverty rate is trending down, not up. People suffering sucks, but laying it at the hands of the uber successful is ironic that you call me brainwashed.
and most youth feel that way while they're young, only once they get into the real world, grow up, get a job, marriage, house, kids, you know some responsibility they usually get smarter and grow out of the youthful ideological phase and understand through hard work and dedication they can control their own destiny and don't have to rely on the generosity of others for their sustenance.
sure what your point is there. That’s something that’s an inevitability as the developed world gets, you know, developed. More people are one paycheck away from homelessness than ever before. Not sure why you brought up capitalism vs socialism either.
Idealistic? Must be nice to live in a world where all those things you named are still affordable for the average young person. The Cold War propaganda has broken all your brains permanently. Anything not laissez faire capitalism is socialism/communism. And somehow making the wealth people in this country actually pay taxes, getting massive right offs from governments, and other built in advantages is now socialism. The robber barron’s would still be in power if it were up to you. It’s almost like you’ve never played monopoly before.
Can we keep the thread to The Mets and NYCs horrible mayor
Not that I am offended by this stuff but 1) someone will be and 2) it’s bringing flashbacks of boring ass political science discussions from 20 years ago when I thought that would be a worthwhile major (boo me).
So your bizarre theory is that de Blasio has either performed a psychological evaluation on Cohen, or is just stereotyping him based on his billionaire status?
So if billionaires are out of the running for buying the Mets ( which will cost billions of dollars), who do you propose buys the Mets? The virtuous homeless person?
RE: More world wide people have been lifted out of poverty Yeah not

Love to disagree with you in great and pointed detail, but politics are prohibited on BBI.

bhill Yep I also chose that major. By I was also a political science major which prepared me(no) for my career in information technology and DevOps.
Like everything now days, he's going hold Cohen up until he agrees to some kind of poltical proganda. BLM, Social Justice, etc.inclusion to the Citi field and the Mets. Visible proganda, and my guess after the Anthem they play the their Anthem or Imagine. For recognition of injust America. To bad, sports was better with out the politics, it was an escape from it, now its forced down your throat.

I thought these threads are supposed to be non-political? I don;t give two shits about DeBlasio but a rule is a rule and I don't appreciate people trashing a political figure when there is a rule against and I REALLY don't appreciate the guy who called New Yorkers morons. Aww panties in a bunch? I could’ve guessed which way you lean the second you got on people’s case for pointing out the obvious about DiBlasio.
I'll never get over the fact that the guy went to the gym in Brooklyn at 11am and didn't get to city Hall until lunch time. The clown was late to a memorial service as the Mayor of NYC. Any other job he would have been fired. Couldn't do a worse job if you tried. And if he actually goes down this road- he will get destroyed in more ways than one.
If you think calling New Yorkers morons is ok, it says a lot about you. Your behavior in general, to resort to personal attacks as a first impulse, already casts you in a pretty poor light. Why don't you man up and admit the NYer comment was out of line, instead of mindlessly siding with the masses on this thread.
see on Mets threads here who want to chime in with their thoughts on the mayor.
It's not really that weird. This is a huge story in NY right now. It's the 'front page' story on both the front page and back page of the Post. There are public interest elements as well as those just relating to the Mets.

Ok ... I’ll bite ... the people of NY who voted for WW jr deserve what they get ... and a name is a name is a name. Having said that, if you take being called WW III as an insult, you can’t be all bad ...

The owners vote is still the only thing that matters. The fact that it was the post that ran this story, and it's got some very shaky premise for politicians to get involved in the first place, and it's been since disputed - if the MLB vote doesn't get canceled it's a non-issue.
If Deblasio was going to make a thing of this (which did concern me) it was going to be a public crusade. The fact that it isn't and it seems like his office is throwing cold water (plus everything Shecky said) leads me to thinking this was an aggrieved party (Jeff) finding a willing bedfellow (Post). Again.
Martino is now confirming the story, ultimately believes it will go through but essentially called the mayor a liar. The spokesperson for the mayor aka the same person who said the post was BSing... called... Cohen... a criminal... so.
Cohen is the poster child of Wall Street Malfeasance
just do a google search and see how he built his fortune
there are numberous other bids for Mets
I am. a taxpayer it is my stadium
I don't want this scumbag owning the team
The guy played dirty in a dirty business, got nailed, then rebuilt the business. He's also one of NYCs biggest philanthropists, so I'll take the good with the bad.
of the matter is this... the mayors office issued a denial... via Bill Neidhardt... who? Well here is what Bill tweeted when the sale was announced...
"Bill Neidhardt
@BNeidhardt
Hard to imagine a worse owner than the Wilpons, but an insider-trading, racketeering billionaire hedge fund vulture is not great."
So... yeah maybe Bill isn't exactly honest regarding what discussions or feelings there are.

Lol I saw this and then he backtracked saying something along the lines of "these are my personal opinions and won't affect any decision making on the matter"
of what they are attempting. I think all parties involved know if pressed it's almost certainly a losing case and more in the frivolous category than a credible predicate to exercise what I assume is a very rarely used power that's not even clearly applicable.
When this broke there was cause for concern bc Deblasio is an asshole and the mayor. With no legitimate reporting (or public statement) backing up a credible objection 24 hours from the vote the odds are overwhelming that this is BS.
would Andy Martino (who all along has called this a non-story) suddenly (while still saying it will likely go through) confirm another outlet "exclusive"? And where are other writers saying this isn't accurate? I'm not buying this is complete BS. The DOJ already gave approval, the 10 owner committee did as well, the "prohibited person" law isn't as cut and dry as others are making it sound "but he personally wasn't convicted!" but it's cut and dry enough where a legal department within a few hours would give their report and they haven't. I think this still goes through, I do not think this is completely fabricated in any way.
Pantorno, who broke the sale news in the first place just tweeted out that Cohen will take the Mayor to court if it comes to that which sure suggests this more than just random NYPOST BS. He's been all over the Cohen story
DB blocks it. He becomes even more unpopular and add another stain
Wilpons have to start the sales process all over, and lost valuable time.
Cohen misses out on lifelong dream of owning Mets
He could say FU, I don’t need your lease... city knows they lose that lawsuit trying to keep him in it after this. He could play in BK for 2021 with Covid still lingering and build his own ballpark elsewhere? City loses massively, Wilpons RE dreams are completely crushed. And Cohen is out a couple billion, unless he talks a place into building him a stadium with massively decreased tax revenue from Covid. Literally, no one would win. No one. Who would want to play that game of chicken? So why would this be thrown out there, other than to delay the vote or turn a few yess to no’s? Is Jeff that stupid (yes)? Is someone else that desperate (yes)? Does MLB really want this to fall apart (0.0)? I’ll disappear till the vote.
I think there is a major difference between this eventually happening and this being a NYPOST created story with "help" from A-Rod and Jerry Reinsdorf. Joe has been ALL over this story. He doesn't tweet this unless there is more than just the post and their BS.

Needless to say, Steve Cohen will take Mayor de Blasio to court if it comes to that.
He’s prepared for any potential situation coming his way in the next few days:"
Right before the owners vote. Hmmmm, why?
If/when the vote takes place, this story disappears...
Revenge of the turds?
Why would the Wilpons want "revenge"? I assume they are the turds you refer to.
They are getting the bulk of the 2.4B, and out of a shitty financial mess.
this is the best possible outcome for them.
Arod is the only one who stands to gain from this and even that's a stretch since my guess is if this fails it would open up the sale process again and possibly even depress the price attracting other buyer more financially viable than the Arod group.
There’s truth to the story, but the story is BS. I know that makes no sense, but it does lol.
If/when vote happens I assume the “story” goes away, if it hasn’t before then.
My assumption, Manfred tells him to stop fucking around and making things difficult, and the “investigation” is cleared before the vote. Maybe tonight...
take is the Mayor knows this is his one moment to impose leverage on one of the richest people on the planet so he's using that moment to do so. Cohen will NOT own the land around the stadium (only 5%) but there are Boku bucks to be had for all parties involved.
DeBlasio may not be any great thing but he is a Prince compared to the wannabe dictator in orange clown makeup and a combover. But no worries that clown will be gone in 5 days.

Arod is the only one who stands to gain from this and even that's a stretch since my guess is if this fails it would open up the sale process again and possibly even depress the price attracting other buyer more financially viable than the Arod group.
Did you miss the half dozen other leaks reportedly from Jeff/Arod intended to try to derail the sale to Cohen? Or when Jeff blew up the original deal in the first place which cost his family a couple hundred million and a 5 year window of participation in the team?
Since when has he been smart enough to avoid self damaging behavior? We have 20 years of self damaging moves running the team which is the entire reason every met fan loathes him in the first place.

If he just shut up about it and extorted some money for his "foundation" if I were Cohen I would have simply gone along with it just for the sake of keeping it easy.

Totally! It's stupid to evaluate people on their own actions and character when you can just lump them together in a group you don't like and just consider them all bad!
Thankfully the world never seems to run short of enlightened thinkers like this.
I think you need to read up the thread of why this turned the way it turned. And there's plenty of groups out there that could put in bids. Sports teams don't need a sole owner and would probably operate better if they worked more like companies did. But that's an argument for another day.
When I see the hurdles mayors in other cities go to support their sports teams, it really unnerves me when a Mayor gets involved in situations like this. Let's look back:
Ed Koch refusing to have a parade for the NY Giants after the 1986 Super Bowl Victory
Bloomberg making an example of Plaxico when his gun discharged in the bar in NYC.
and now this. Why in NYC, do mayor do more to hurt their teams when in other cities, the mayors are doing whatever they can to support and actually build-up their teams.
Cohen apparently has had two law firms review the clause already and both allegedly said that this is a poor argument by city. Those would have been shared with the owners as a means to alleviate concerns. Furthermore I would assume MLB owners would be very much against establishing a precedent where municipalities have any influence over their internal process
Once the owners vote occurs the city loses an incredible lever in their stance so to Sheckys point it behooves the city to extrapolate whatever gain they are seeking and resolve the issue by tonight. The city doesn’t really gain much here if it goes Scorched earth since it would need to do the same with ARod who has some moral issues of his own arguably and the Philly bid which is being tainted by Epstein allegations.

It just doesn't make sense.
New York isn't a sports town like Chicago, Boston, etc wtc. In those towns everybody on the streets is wearing jerseys. NY has more going on, more culture, more dining, more theater, more art. Sports doesn't dominate the town like other places.
"sticking it to billionaires" always makes me smile...
Yeah people who succeed at stuff suck.
Succeed at stuff? LOL. You mean scam their way to the top.
Yeah...HAHAHAHA...I meant scam their way to the top because all billionaires scammed their way to the top! They are all evil!!! HAHAHAHA
Not all of them, just this one.

Not in the primary, but in the actual election. He is from my area. As a member of the school district team and then as a city council member he seemed somewhat decent. As Public Advocate he seemed somewhat useless, but that position was somewhat useless. He was clearly using it as a stepping stone.
Well, one of his biggest promises was that the hospital a few blocks from me, which was rumored to be for sale, would never be sold. He was firm on that. Literally in his first week in office the sale was announced that it was not only sold, but going to developers to tear down and build a luxury building. I never believed another word he said. He continues to back up that feeling.
I wrote in myself when he ran for re-election. So, somewhere there should be a public record of me getting at least one vote for NYC mayor.
RE: I am fairly certain I voted for him the first time he ran
One of the things that drives me crazy about him having been elected is that I thought both of the other main primary candidates, Quinn and Thompson, would have been good, possibly great, mayors. We didn't just get a trainwreck, we passed up very qualified people for the trainwreck. (Maybe Lhota would've been a good mayor too, he certainly couldn't have been this bad, but that's hindsight. I liked those two a lot back then, and was really frustrated with the primary result).

I agree. I just can't remember if I voted for Quinn or Thompson.
He's also delusional if he thinks he has any kind of political future
Pretty much all of NYC hates him at this point, nobody in the rest of the state respects him, and nobody outside of the tri-state area even gives a shit about him, as his failed bid for the Presidency showed. Talk about an over-inflated image of one's self.
RE: RE: Consider the source. It's the New York Post.
A source inside City Hall confirmed to The Post that de Blasio did call Manfred, but said the mayor’s message to the MLB commish was “very close to what the mayor has been saying publicly.”
And Cohen will win.”

Right - you need to read the entire article. Sounds like Cohen would ultimately prevail.
de Bozio is the absolute worst human being.
Because, you know...
Also, I'm sure this will do wonders to his approval rating...
Cohen is a successful billionaire and deblasio hates people with money, unless they give him some. That’s the beef
Link - ( New Window )
Yeah, gotta love it...politicians attacking millionaires until they themselves become millionaires from corruption. Then they go after billionaires. A great American tradition
The Mets having good ownership and being competitive is great for New York City. What this guy is trying to prove is beyond comprehension.
But, sure people like Stan like to stick it to billionaires (for some unknown reason to me other than I guess jealousy), but reading what I have about Cohen and watching every episode of Billions he's not someone I'd prefer to have as an enemy.
Plus de Blasio is out next November.
Politically it doesn’t matter for him. Everyone I know (of all political affiliations) hates him already. Plus he is termed out November 2021
Because, you know...
No what tell us....
Cohen, however, has not been convicted of any crime.
+1
Yup. Lot of people who cry about how much he sucks voted for him twice. (don’t know about people on this board, but I know plenty of people in NYC who did and now scream about how awful he is).
Not that hard to do when you're up for re-election and about 12 or 13 people out of the whole city vote
LOL. This seems to be the consensus from all the liberals, moderates, & conservatives I know.
It really is uncanny. Lol, NO one wants likes this guy.

Cohen should wait until the owner's vote is final before making his assault. He waited this long, what is another couple of days?

Ever in history? He was our City Councilman in Brooklyn back in the day, and he was fine as a City Councilman. (I knew him slightly.) He's in way over his head as Mayor, unfortunately - has neither the skills nor the temperament for the job. And this stuff with Cohen is ridiculous.

I don't know, but I never once felt "yeah, let's stick it to the billionaire" in my life and I do think sure in order to amass that much wealth you have to have at least some eccentricities - not sure about being a sociopath though - some I'm sure have a conscience.
And billionaires, a small group, are the target of a lot of vitriol, but rarely do the spewers of said vitriol consider the number of people who are employed and make their living, feed their families, etc. because of the risks the billionaires took along the way (and still) building their businesses.
but to avoid this thread going off the rails I won't comment more than that.
and
doing the same to Martino
Hopefully all of this backtracking leads to a resolution tomorrow
I don't look at "them" any way people are unique and each is different from the other. people deserve to be treated as humans and judged as individuals (if they must be judged - which I try not to do)
And no I don't think they are magnanimous, but without risk takers and entrepreneurs there are just far less opportunities for the rest of us.
that is a fact.
I don't begrudge anyone for maximizing their wealth nor do I expect anything altruistic from anyone.

It's not really that weird. This is a huge story in NY right now. It's the 'front page' story on both the front page and back page of the Post. There are public interest elements as well as those just relating to the Mets.

Totally! It's stupid to evaluate people on their own actions and character when you can just lump them together in a group you don't like and just consider them all bad!
Thankfully the world never seems to run short of enlightened thinkers like this.
So if billionaires are out of the running for buying the Mets ( which will cost billions of dollars), who do you propose buys the Mets? The virtuous homeless person?
I think you need to read up the thread of why this turned the way it turned. And there's plenty of groups out there that could put in bids. Sports teams don't need a sole owner and would probably operate better if they worked more like companies did. But that's an argument for another day.
Andy Martino of SNY has confirmed the story, as has Joe Pantorno

Maybe they found de Blasio's laptop as well.

the laptop has been confirmed too, but some people believe what the media tells them to believe.

Yeah...HAHAHAHA...I meant scam their way to the top because all billionaires scammed their way to the top! They are all evil!!! HAHAHAHA
More hot takes from the 3rd grade.
Not a Met fan but let Cohen take control of the Met's

and now this. Why in NYC, do mayor do more to hurt their teams when in other cities, the mayors are doing whatever they can to support and actually build-up their teams.
It just doesn't make sense.

New York isn't a sports town like Chicago, Boston, etc wtc. In those towns everybody on the streets is wearing jerseys. NY has more going on, more culture, more dining, more theater, more art. Sports doesn't dominate the town like other places.
Wasn't it pretty well known he was a clueless lazy asshole before he was re-elected in '17?

Well, one of his biggest promises was that the hospital a few blocks from me, which was rumored to be for sale, would never be sold. He was firm on that. Literally in his first week in office the sale was announced that it was not only sold, but going to developers to tear down and build a luxury building. I never believed another word he said. He continues to back up that feeling.
I wrote in myself when he ran for re-election. So, somewhere there should be a public record of me getting at least one vote for NYC mayor.
You're fucking kidding me, right?

Why would someone kid about the NY post being a publication that's not worthy of wiping your ass with?
only a non-serious person would make that claim or someone so politically bent their head is firmly stuck up their ass permanently.

Just look at his BBI profile. Says it all.
He's a real "patriot"
