The #Ravens and star LT Ronnie Stanley agreed on a 5-year extension worth $112,866,000 max total value, source said. He gets $70,866,000 in total guarantees. A massive deal. Money bagMoney bagMoney bag
after this season. It will be interesting to see what happens then. Will he push for an extension or will he be patient and wait another year? With his style of play and likelihood of suffering a serious injury like Prescott I doubt that he will be patient.
Baltimore is currently operating how the Seahwawks did when Russell Wilson was on his rookie contract. Once they extend Jackson they will be forced to make some difficult decisions.

Gotta cut him. That's how the plan works.
They just extended Marlon Humphrey to a big money deal
- Tyron Smith had the largest deal by total value: 8 yrs/$97.6M. This tops that by [b]$15M and is only 5 yrs.
- Next largest in total is Taylor Lewan's $80M deal. Stanley's getting $70M in guarantees. Some of that is probably "injury only", but still...
- Also tops Tunsil's deal in AAV by $0.5M per year, which isn't significant except that Tunsil himself had surpassed the next highest AAV by $4M per year. And Tunsil's deal is only for 3 seasons.

Yup, the GoTerps plan. Draft 2-3 mobile QBs every year and keep cycling them.
Do you think Baltimore or Tennessee draft him over Stanley or Conklin if not for the video?
1-3 likely weren't changing and I doubt Cowboys were taking Tunsil, so I can definitely see him going at 6 to the Ravens instead. No guarantee that they liked Tunsil better than Stanley, but just about everyone had Tunsil as the top guy.
And obviously the Titans might've then opted for Stanley over Conklin, especially with Conklin viewed as more of a RT which has been pretty accurate.
Holy crap that is a lot of money, particularly guaranteed!

I wouldn’t give him anything until I see him win a couple big playoff games.
RE: Holy crap that is a lot of money, particularly guaranteed!
But he is very good. I never thought elite though but honestly don't watch Ravens that much.
LBH, I have an honest question, no snark intended. If you don't watch the ravens much, why even choose to have an opinion on how good the player is?
Because when I have seen him play, he looked pretty damn good. But elite should mean consistently good and also doing it against the best in the game...and I honestly just don't recall who I have seen him play against when I watched.
A poster above was hoping Stanley would be available next year as a free agent and a few of us said "no way" so I thought this thread was very timely.

The other "if only" is that Stanley strongly considered coming out a year earlier for the 2015 draft. In which case, likely that either he would have been the Giants' pick or, at the least, he would have pushed Scherff to NYG instead of Flowers.
Giants were determined to take an OL with first pick that year, and that came from Mara, not Reese. run of bad luck - ( New Window )

given the lack of credible evidence you are presenting i find it highly difficult to place any trust in the more than likely fabricated alibi you have provided
Was not a big fan of Lamar Jackson, but I do enjoy watching him play even if he is a marginal QB - by that I mean his arm, while very strong, is just not accurate enough. While Kyler Murray is smaller and maybe not as good at running, he is slightly more accurate, very smart when he does run and I think will get better with time.

More on Ronnie Stanley: $47,116,000 will be earned from September 13th to March 31st, 2021
I remember the draft debate with him. There were many who didn't think that he could play LT in the NFL or that he would be ordinary there.

No question. Hopefully Andrew Thomas will earn the same.

I was waiting for this.
I laughed.
Would we have won it all in 2016?
Would Eli still be playing?

You can count on a single hand players that they have developed since 2011.
