to being a good team. Been awhile since I've been able to really believe that. Easier to live with the ups and downs when the team is going in the right direction.
Giants looked decent on both d and O. Great on specials.
WFT in the division. Yes, the whole division sucks. But, for several years now, they found ways to lose these games. Going out back to back weeks and beating teams they have every right and chance to win, instead of blowing it, is huge. First winning streak in a long time. They have to be confident going in to the bye.
Yup, and the Eagles were healthier than last time and coming off a bye. Sanders, Kelce, and Jeffrey back. No grading this one on a curve, we stood toe to toe with the Eagles and knocked them out
Before Hernandez replaced the injured Zeitler late in the 3rd, had either him or Peart been in? Did Peart play at all? I don't get even the notion of a rotation. Just play Lemieux and Peart for Zeitler and Fleming.
No complaints from me. Judge looks like one helluva coach. Solid work from the offense. Defense is hanging in there. Specials teams may be our strength - Gano and Dixon are having incredible seasons.
I've gotten conditioned to not believing it was possible to beat this team. It's not that we lose we just find the craziest way to lose. This goes as far back as 2003 with the Westbrook punt game. Might even say back to 2001 with the Lambuth Special and that first game we should have won too.
What a great Sunday afternoon. A huge hump to get over!
The PI on Holmes was really a questionable call. The hold on Thomas on Jones TD was bullshit as Sweat should have been called for hands to the face and Thomas never held, anyway.
Judge has some good ammo to send to the league office.
The last Gano FG was a mini version of the game ...
FG to put the game away, looks like its slicing wide right, everyone thinking "here we go again", and then someone in heaven said "there will be no miracle in the meadowlands part 1000 today", and the ball hooked right back in.

Fundamentals and details
Players started with a clean slate (e.g. Gallman emerged from his 2019 doghouse)
The result is a team that as the season goes on
- has no communication problems (backfield confusion in 2019)
- makes fewer mistakes as the season goes on
- the team retains confidence despite early losses
If they can take the division, this team may go deeper in the playoffs than most assume.
a really solid game, although there were too many plays where we were gashed in run defense. But we didn't beat ourselves on or off the field. Judge coached a good game. The team plays hard for him. Really happy with the win.

Peart was in at least once. I saw him on a goal line play.
the perfect pulse for this team right now. Pushing all the right buttons. Good game plan and execution for the most part on offense and defense. Can’t really argue with a single thing today.
The best thing about todays game was Jones handling of the ball
When the pocket started collapsing he would just tuck it down and try to run. Usually would just get back to the LOS or so, but no tipped passes going for Ints.
Wentz came out in the second half red hot. On second down, he inserts Hurts under center in an obvious run for no gain, forcing 3rd and long. They wind up punting, killing their momentum.
That sequence of playcalling after the huge Slayton catch almost gave me a nervous breakdown.
Well in FG range, the game changes from needing yards to simply needing to burn clock and protect field position.
Instead: they go shotgun 3 times. 1st play an east-west end around that loses yardage. 3rd play gets blown up in the backfield and almost causes a fumble.
Just line up in a Jumbo formation and run up the gut 3 times. Even taking 3 knees is a sound strategy there.
Defense got me frustrated with the 2 DL deployment and getting gouged in the run game, but it is the bend but don’t break. When push came to shove they did find a way to get pressure
Thought outside of the weak holding call, Thomas played well. They had a good push again
I agree, He played a very good game. Best of this season, but no way best of his career. That was against Washington late lat season when he went 28-42 for 352 yds with 5 touchdown passes and 0 int. Still did a terrific job of protecting the ball and managing the game. He showed growth which is something he had not been doing all season.
From what I saw on both sides of the ball. Improvements all around and DJ seemed to have more control of the offense for reasons beyond my drunk ass. : )
In the 4th quarter. Besides having a very solid game, I really appreciated Gallman’s obvious passion throughout the contest. It was obvious many of the players really, really wanted to win.
The streak is over. Gotta give a Ric Flair WOOOOOOOOO!

We would get smacked in the playoffs just because we don't have the talent to compete at that level yet. However, with the right moves, we would have a legit playoff team next year

So many missed holding calls, then they call back DJ TD on a soft call. Fuck the Eagles.

He just looked very composed back there
That is an amazing stat.
And man how over rated is Doug Pederson

Sports talk radio in Philly is going to be absolutely incredible tomorrow. I might actually go for a ride right now just to soak it all in.

Misleading. They had 22 first downs. Same amount as the Giants. They just got their first downs on first and second down.
Thought outside of the weak holding call, Thomas played well. They had a good push again
I hate the Eagles

for work tomorrow just so I can see all the miserable Eagles fans on the subway and in Center City. Biggest win in 4 years.

I will wake up a bit earlier to get WIP going. Suck it Cataldi!
Garrett is light years ahead of previous HC/OC
Don’t think so
Cheers!
Once the Giants OL got to a place they could even out the philly dL they had a good chance.
Jones, Zeitler, Peppers, Hernandez, Engram, (hell, even Barkley) - they all must gooooooooooooo.
