I think its a case of deciding what spots to use blitzing. If you do anything all the time the offense will adjust. By mixing it up the offense isn't prepared as much for a blitz. Plus we seem to blitz later in the halfs, likely due to our coaches analyzing what changes the offense has made and determining which blitzes will work best

I did notice in the 4th more sets eith Williams, Lawrence and Tomlinson all in the game..
In Washington game i noticed a lot of zone and deeper zknes in the 4th quarter, against eagles more tight coverage
Eagles looked sloppy off their bye trying to pass the ball
the game. I won't lie. When they went up 24-17, I fully expected Philly to score quickly AND get the ball back. When they went up 27-17, I fully expected Philly to score quickly and recover an onside kick to at least have a shot to win or tie. It was so nice, instead, to see 2 stops and the O to put up that extra score.

Sounds like you have been taking Eric's game previews seriously. LOL. Or more likely a long time suffering fan. But that is now 2 weeks in a row that the defense had made stops late twice in a row.
