My play of the game

ron mexico : 11/15/2020 5:38 pm
Third and long deep in our own territory.

Jones is at the line of scrimmage barking out adjustments including the famous “Eli Eli” call.

Then makes a clutch pass to Lewis on a wheel route for a first.

That was a very good play

My son and I were raving about it.
That was a great throw,

that and the bomb to Slayton late in the 4th.
My favorite play today was in the 3rd quarter

It was relatively nondescript but IMO showed a lot. Jones dropped back and as the pocket started to break down you could see he panicked and started to fade back like he would early in the season. But he caught himself, squared his shoulders up field, got out of the pocket and ran for 11 and a first down.

A month ago he throws that ball up for grabs and risks the turnover. There were several plays like that today, even on some of the sacks he took. He was phenomenal today. The play you mentioned, the back to back 30 yarders to Shep and Tate, Slayton down the sideline late in the 4th. The improvement was overwhelmingly obvious today.

Oh, and fuck the Eagles.
What are you guys, morons?

The Jones TD run to go up first was. Lead they never gave up.

You know, it’s possible to enjoy discussing a big Giants win without being a jerk. Even if you disagree with someone’s point

LBH15 - consider this a warning. A general statement insulting a group of posters is the definition of trolling. Trolling is not allowed under our terms of usage.
I think a key part was our response after their TD that cut it to

3. Jones to Shep, then Jones to Tate, then Gallman 3 times up the gut.

It sent a message

Especially the play to Tate, bc it wasn’t Jones first read. He looked left, then came back to Tate and gave him a shot to make a play
My favorite play was the Gallman TD when our Offensive line
gtt350 : 11/15/2020 8:22 pm : link
plowed the whole defensive line into the end zone. Havent seen that in years
They opened the game

With an 85 yard touchdown drive followed by a 75 yard touchdown drive.

Backed up on their own 15, losing yardage on 1st down, it felt like a prelude to being down 7-0 in the next cougar min.

Those set a tone the Giants haven’t set for awhile

Yes that was a thing of beauty! Especially seeing the Giant killer Fletcher Cox getting plowed back! Had me thinking I was watching the '08 line at work.
