Little luck in there with some drops by the Eagles...

but yea you are correct. Williams again was all over the place. Lawrence at certain times was triple teamed by the Eagles O Line, Hill got pressure.

Some negatives...Fackrell for the 2nd week in a row took some really bad angles on RBs catching safety valves causing big gains. Mayo has also regressed as a tackler...it's reaslly his only redeeming qulaity
Watched the game at a friends' house in South Jersey.

So, on the drive back home while I was still in that area, I was listening to the Eagles postgame show to enjoy their misery, and one of the hosts said it was the first time 15 years that's happened to the Eagles. Pretty awesome.

Its actually even better...37 years. They were 0-11 in 1983 against...the Giants.

That was fantastic as the Giants have been bad at 3rd downs

The defense is really growing and getting confidence in each other.

And whoever wants to break up the defensive line is crazy.

BTW, the eagles did convert one 4th down early in the game.

On the other hand, they had 22 first downs.

Same number as we did.
There were people on the game thread bitching about

our "Prevent" defense. Literally want to know what they are watching because I saw two bad drives, one aided by a really bad call. Do we stop them in red zone there? Honestly, if you look at our red zone perecentage you'd say yeh.
3rd Down
Mike in NY : 11/16/2020 4:48 am : link
We got off the field when we faced 3rd and long, but that was usually because Pederson got away from the running game that was gashing us. Had they stuck with the running game, our losing streak against Philly would still be active.
I think the league third down conversion
bw in dc : 11/16/2020 9:21 am : link
average is 40%.

The Eagles came in at a 43% conversion rate.

To hold them 0 for 9 is tremendous and a key factor to why we won.

Yes, said similar point yesterday. Giants had no answer for their running as their OL was doing fairly easy work of the NY Giant Dline and LBs.
To me
crick n NC : 11/16/2020 9:32 am : link
It seemed the Giants didn't feel the Eagles would stick to the ground game. I am think the Giants were more focused on defending the pass.
