The Giants finally broke an embarrassing streak. The last ten years against them have been horrible, but maybe yesterday's victory will be the start of a trend in the other direction. Plus a catalyst for the rest of this season. Needless to say, the confidence level in us fans was pretty low.
At what point in the game, did you finally say, "YES, we got this?" with 100% confidence.
Was it the field goal that put us up 10?
Was it the failure of the eagles on 4th and 16?
Was it 0.00 on the clock and no yellow flag on the field?
Was it when they were in the locker room....or driving home?
Or this morning, that you really weren't dreaming?
Great win, week off to feel good.
Go Big Blue!
Just like every week~
I waited until 5 minutes after the final whistle.
I did feel pretty good after we hit the FG late to make it a two score game.
This team is different. We are not the most talented but, we are so much more disciplined than in years past. We play together and play hard.
The Giants can make some noise here in the second half of the year. We have played the Steelers, the Rams and the Bucs tough and close. The on e"blowout" was more a collapse after so many should have's earlier in the game and followed the week we lost our best weapon.
This team has found an identity. Our QB is showing he has the mental toughness for the job and is getting better each week. We have no real outside threats and yet we are scheming our offensive success. The development of the Oline is huge and will continue us forward.
This, plus exhaling after there was no flag.
Not there was a penalty, but you know, NFL officials and all....
been through too many of these
Yeah. Remember the "OMG spectacular" OBJ catch from 2014? Everyone going wild and what does Dallas do on the ensuing possession? They marched right up the field without skipping a beat or breaking a sweat. Bang. Dallas answers and sucks the air out of the stadium.
Nice to see the Giants answer the call, for once.
The Football Gods said "Not today"!
The Dallas game was a bit of an aberration because that team was averaging an astounding 33 pts per game when they had Dak.
