Rumor that seems reliable: OKC to send Dennis Schroeder to LAL for Danny Green's corpse and the 28th overall pick.
One would assume that this means Rajon Rondo (FA) will not return. Note that he went to UK and you'll see a pronounced roster shift (or assumption of a shift) to it being UK strong.
Rumor that seems unreliable: James Harden to Nets for Lavert, Dinwiddie, Allen and perhaps draft compensation.
we can just sign him outright.

Anyway, I still think this Harden thing is a bridge too far. I hope Houston holds firm and gets a star player in return.
Sounds very likely that Giannis is signing the supermax with the Bucks. Good for him and saves us a year of bullshit rumors he's interested in New York.
That should be fun

That’s be a great trade for NYK, don’t know if Boston would do it/ want more.
I like Kira a lot. It's between Kira/Hayes/Vassell for me.
I keep trying to talk myself into Toppin but I can't do it. Too upright, too bad a defender, not great awareness.
I don't think Haliburton can create enough at the PG spot so I would pass on him.
And Okoro probably has a solid role in the NBA but he's just a bad fit with RJ.
The only other guy that could be the pick is possibly Avidja, who also isn't a great fit with RJ but I think has high upside.
Tobbin could be a bad pick due to lack of quickness and bad defensive play, but Okoro seems like a bust candidate. Would love Quickley at 27 or 38...
Completely agree with this. Okoro is by far the worst fit for this team. The last thing they need is another non-shooter, I can't watch another season of RJ beating his guy into the paint just to be met by 4 guys at the rim because we don't have anyone that can stretch the floor.
I know it's not the popular opinion, but I really want Toppin, Hayes, or Lewis. We never really got a chance to see what Chandler, Stat, and Carmelo could do together while all healthy, Mitch, Toppin, and RJ would be the young, new age version of that (all 3 guys have a heck of a lot of growth to do to live up to those guys, I know). Having Robinson on the floor will help cover up a lot of Toppin's flaws defensively, and you just hope Thibs can help him improve.
I would be just as happy with any of the PGs though, the need there is undeniable, and to me Lewis has the highest upside.
I get that the offense is not there. But from the day he's drafted he's a defensive force. And while it wouldn't be fun to watch them shoot, a lineup with Mitch, Frank and Okoro would be a pain to play against.
In theory, the Knicks are building a real basketball development organization. You can see why Thibs would love him. He's a Jimmy Butler starter kit. Jaylen Brown is a good comp too. It's true that he may only end up to be a defensive player but even that's pretty damn good.
