The technique our DBs are using

It’s been brought up in the broadcast that our DBs are being taught to keep their eyes on the receiver and attack through the catch zone when the ball arrives. (Probably not the best description)

What are your thoughts on this? While it seems to be effective, I feel like it opens them up to more pass interference calls if the wr tries to fight back towards the ball and they make contact without having eyes on the incoming ball.
Pretty sure its not just a Giants thing

Its standard practice throughout the NFL. Obviously its probably better to turn, but if you can't get around then play off the WR's hands and reactions
If you are sitting on top it makes more sense to open up to the

ball as it gives you opps for picks. When in trail it makes more sense to open to sideline and get in catch zone. Pretty standard technique stuff, but its been so long since we've had technicians out there like Bradberry that it seems novel. Why I have hope he'll be very productive throughout his contract, he doesn't really on athleticism like some other guys do.
This is nothing new

might not be anything new, but i agree it does seem to be more prevalent with this team.
I think it is more obvious with this team

because the coaches are focusing so strongly on technique. This is not a new way to cover a receiver. Giants fans just aren't used to seeing the secondary play with really good technique.
Also specifically the technique for when you get beat

As in...keep running. Don't drop speed to look back. Maybe more prevalent because our (non-Bradberry) dbs are in this position a lot :-).
This is not new.

Bradberry just happens to be really good at it.
