his rookie year. We'll never know for sure what he could have become, but I'd wager that this incident probably fast tracked what was likely to happen.
he wasn't taking his job seriously, then, under judge, he was skipping virtual meetings in the spring. i suppose it's possible this robbery thing was sufficient to dislodge head from ass but i am not sure he deserves the benefit of the doubt and it's possible, even likely, judge wants nothing to do with him after the poor attitude he showed in the spring pre-robbery incident.
when i think of baker and what could have been i think of using those draft picks on different/better prospects.

100% agree. It was a dumb trade given the character flags that were on him, which Gettleman seemed blind to, which is the most disturbing aspect of it. We gave up 37. Cody Ford was taken 38. A pick later, Sean Murphy-Bunting, who may be the best corner out of that class, was taken 39. Plenty of other good payers followed, and then at 51, A.J. friggin' Brown was taken, the best WR in that class.
another red flag. And also, what no one is really pointing out, is that regardless of whether he brandished a gun or not what seems to be true was that he was around or participating in some high stakes gambling out in the community. That's questionable judgment in itself. Nothing good comes from submerging yourself in to stuff like that as a high profile person.
could be signed by anyone? Nice ROI.
