Just jotting down what we know - Eagles appear to have a tougher schedule, but SOS can change week to week
I eliminated HTH for both as it seemed to be irrelevant and completed.
Giants 1st 10 games .500 SOS (37 - 37)
- Steel (9-0) L
- Bears (5-4) L
- 9ers (4-6) L
- Rams (6-3) L
- Boys (2-7) L
- Skins (2-7) W
- Bucs (7-3) L
- Skins (2-7) W
Eagles 1st 9 games .492 (31 - 32)
- Skins (2-7) L
- Rams (6-3) L
- Bngls (2-6) T
- 9ers (4-6) W
- Steel (9-0) L
- Raven (6-3) L
- Boys (2-7) W
Giants next 6 games .528 (28 - 25)
- Bngls (2-6)
- Hawks (6-3)
- Cards (6-3)
- Brwns (6-3)
- Raven (6-3)
- Boys (2-7)
Eagles next 7 games .571 (36 - 27)
- Brwns (6-3)
- Hawks (6-3)
- Pack (7-2)
- Saints(7-2)
- Cards (6-3)
- Boys (2-7)
- Skins (2-7)
However, the Eagles play Saints (7-2) who are a wild card without Brees.
Eagles have DAL & Wash - you might throw out the standings - div games can be upsets.
Giants have Dal - same possibility, but Dal seems to be toast. Might depend if they have given up by week 17.
Eagles play Pack & Saints while we play Bengals. Otherwise we play the same teams as them (either previously or later).
Important game for us is after the bye. Eagles squandered their bye.
Just keep winning.
Unfortunately, no victories for good games that are lost. This is the real deal.
Let's hope the Browns can do us a favor and beat the Eagles while we rest...
If we get to the Boys and need the game (probably will) that will be a real test of not going flat at the most important of times. We've seen that before.
