Perspective on Daniel Jpnes

It was nice that this was a win based on a lot of good things that he did...things he does well that he's capable of doing well repetitively. He's a lot more athletic than we realized, and he generally threw the ball well..after a game in which he threw poorly.

What a tough spot.... He's following his own hero, and he's arriving in the midst af a strong wave of young qb's. I don't know whether He's going to be good enough for the Job, itself.... How will He ever be good enough for the comparisons and the Home Fans?

His straight line speed is very good but he needs to continue to work on his quickness. He also seems to come up 1 yard short of a first down a lot of the time he does scramble. But He is still catching up to the speed of the game and once he gets his 2nd offense in 2 years down, he will be solid. Like most youngsters, his awareness needs improvement.
He didn’t throw poorly against Washington

In what world is 1 incompletion(a drop btw) in the second half on 68% percentage for the day against the number 1 pass defense a bad day?
If you think he threw poorly yesterday

I question if we watched the same game.

Hell, I question if we watched the same sport.
I cringe with him running so much.

The more running, the greater the chance for injury. Wish they'd scale it back a bit.

KMurray runs even more. The key is to be smart and not allow yourself to get hit as much. Murray is a master at not being touched.

Although he made some key throws, he had issues with his accuracy throughout the Washington game.
From the minute I watched his pro day

I knew what kind of athlete he is. I was also a minority that celebrated the pick at 6.

Quarterbacks every week make the same mistakes Jones makes.
