I played HS football and was on PR, KR, PB and KB teams (there's no comparison intended, but hear me out). Never sniffed anywhere near the level of explanation and instruction of the concepts and strategies behind setting up walls, angles and blocking schemes on ST. Would have been awesome to have some insight as to the "why" on ST, back in the day, in order to help visualize the task at hand. I've been watching football all my life and feel like I'm hearing this stuff for the first time.
Peppers gets tackled(by Brown essentially) and he gets up and is yelling at Brown to keep moving forward and gesticulating where Brown should have been...
Best JJ Report of the entire season – It's a MUST WATCH !!!

I remember that, although I thought it was Morris. Either way it was clear that Peppers thought he'd have a TD is the blocker had did his job. The hole was there.

No, it is Cam Brown #47 not #41. Morris is not on punt return. Brown is RDE on the play and Coughlin is LDE. If you replay it, you see Brown loop around to the right from his position on the camera's left and run up the field and kind of mill around doing nothing until Peppers runs into him.
But whomever, I found it funny that Peppers was really giving it to him.
for that TD in Philadelphia. Saying he gave up and got pushed 6 yards back into the endzone. Always nice to hear. Nice to see the Giants lines handing the Eagles lines their ass. They were getting Kelce so good he couldn't snap the ball.
breaks that punt return outside and uses the wall, he's gone. Perfectly blocked play.
Yeah my biggest takeaway from Judges's breakdown of Peppers' fine 20 yard punt rwturn - which was a key play setting up the Giants next FG - was that Pep fucked up by taking it up the seam when he saw a hole there.
It was blocked up with a "peel" scheme setting up an outside wall giving Pep the left sideline, and it was THERE! His impatience to get going upfield cost himmthe TD, not his blocking!!!
Putting that out on video (without calling Peppers out on his mistake) was a very savvy teaching move by JJ, IMO. PEPPERS has plenty of rw speed to have gotten to the sideline there, he was overly anxious and "blew" the design of the return.
No way the assistant coaches keep up with him.

Baldy does a fantastic breakdown of that run on Twitter
