NFT: Cyberpunk 2077

Route 9 : 11/17/2020 4:16 pm
Haven't gotten a video game in almost two years. I think the last game that I played was Far Cry where the two girls take over Montana, lol.

Anyway, this cyberpunk game looks really cool. Anyone here getting it? I'm sure there are plenty but I just wanted to probe the waters and see what everyone thinks. Will it be a slam dunk? It seems as if this game is taking forever to come out and they're putting some fine detail into it. Would be nice to have SOME fun after this disaster of a year.

Thoughts?
i'll be picking it up on launch day

i'm concerned with all the delays on it though. I'm not expecting this groundbreaking insane game its being billed as.

It will likely be a slimmed down futuristic GTA and for most that will suffice. I'm a bit tired of the GTA game formula but its been enough time since playing GTAV that hopefully I can play this without it feeling too familiar.
Day 1 buy

What's nutty is it felt like GTA V just came out but it's approximately the same amount of time between now and GTA V coming out as between GTA III and IV.

GTA III was my favorite. The rest were great but LOL that first run with III in 2001-2002. Good memories.
agreed on GTA3

best "setting" for me by far and like you said on timing, it was simply revolutionary to play. It came out right before I turned 16, still remember faking sick and getting my mom to take me to the mall to buy it, haha.
I feel like open world games...

are always going to be buggy. I expect that this one will be as well. I'm also very interested in it and can't wait to play it.
I’ve been playing the new AC Valhalla

about 15 hours in. It’s really cool being able to play as a Viking. Probably my favorite game of the series next to Black Flag.
This is a shut up and take my money

It's clearly between this and TLOU2 for game of the year.
Def will buy it

I have been playing the Witcher 3 (Made by the same team) recently on my new Series X. What a fantastic game. so really looking forward to see what they do next.

Sadly there is no chance I beat Witcher 3 before December 10th.
I will probably get it eventually

but will wait a month or so...in no hurry.

Playing D2 Beyond Light now...though somewhat disappointed in the expansion thus far it is keeping me busy.

You can tell some of those areas in that game were influenced by Jersey City, Hoboken.
It's by the same studio that did the Witcher series, so hell yes!

Witcher 3 is such a great freakin' game. If this is even close it will be awesome.

As someone who's lived up here since college except for a brief stint in Bk, can you expound on this? Got me very interested, but I've tried to stay away from large large parts of the gameplay other than trailers, so I'm curious as to what you mean since I find that really cool.
