I am hoping for a conservative approach. No Westbrook please.
Just get a wing that can shoot and defend at a high level. Spend $ in FA on a guy in his prime, that has proven to be a winner along with shooter/defender etc. Here is what I want:
PG: FVV via FA (4 years at $25mm per), Malachi Flynn at 27, Jared Harper
SG: RJB, Frank Ntilikina, Immanual Quickley via acquired 2nd round pick
SF: Devin Vassell at 8, Reggie Bullock, Kevin Knox, Iggy Brazdeikas (who I think will surprise people and steal minutes)
PF: Julius Randle (I don't want to give up assets to trade a guy whose warts are greatly mitigated when you take ball handling responsibilities away from him), Kenny Wooten, Robert Woodard (favorite of mine in this draft) at 38
C: Mitchell Robinson, Taj Gibson, Willie Cauley-Stein on a cheap 1 year deal

to move up 2 spots. If Wiseman doesnt end up as good as Carter is would it surprise anyone? Not that Carter is some stud but he hasnt really stayed healthy and got a full season yet. He almost averaged a double double with a block in under 30 minutes last season.

If that deal went through..
Edwards, wiseman, Ball, advija is the top 4..
Guessing Toppin goes to Cleveland, i think Atlanta trades the pick, Detroit goes Hayes or Haliburton..

there are rumors that the Bulls are not high on Carter as a long term piece

As a Bulls fan, I have heard shit all over the map. Hearing they are looking to trade down to 8 with the Knicks (Knicks go Toppin, Bulls go Williams/Hayes). I've heard Williams, Ball, Okongwu, Avdija. It's all over the place.
I don't see an upgrade from Carter to Wiseman being worth the #4 pick in the draft, particularly when big men like Wiseman are not nearly as important in today's NBA.
but based on what I've been reading here over the last few weeks, it sounds like what I am hoping for is that the Knicks stay at 8 and Hayes falls to them.
An otherwise, Kira Lewis either at 8 or even better after a small trade down.
I think that's my worthless opinion of things right now.
unless Toppin falls to them, I want Halliburton. Then Isaih Stewart at #27. Maybe trade their 2 first rounders for Boston's 3 first rounders and get an extra pick

Excellent analysis. I am also a Bulls fan. You obviously know a lot more than I do, but it does appear that the Bulls could any one of about a half a dozen things. I wouldn't trade Carter and #4 for Wiseman.

Yeah, it's pretty wide open this year. They have brought in some good execs. Executive VP of basketball operations is Arturas Karnisovas, former GM and assistant GM of Denver, who was instrumental in bring in Jokic, Murray, and Porter. GM is Marc Eversley, who was head scout and assistant GM with the Raptors.
Bulls could go any number of ways. Their two best players IMO are Lavine and White, and both play the same position really. I would like to see them both in the backcourt together, but word is they view White as more of a SG than a PG. So they could draft a distributor and trade Lavine. I have no clue what is going to happen.
Absolutely agree on this! Need to get someone who has a shot already. We have 5 young players already who are still hoping to develop one. I'd prefer Lewis because of his speed and ability to facilitate for others, but would be OK with Vassel.
Unless, he is the final piece to put thr Knicks over the top.
Meaning, they somehow added 2 young superstars beforehand.
Lmao. Just be happy if yall do anything. Westbrook would be the best player you've had since.... jesus... maybe Ewing idk... prime Melo and Russ RN are basically the same tier for me.

It's Kira 1 or Vassel 2.

Don't understand this trade. WHo can they get at 23 who wouldn't be available at 27? 38th pick could also have been avaluable player

I read somewhere with possible no G-league this year most teams are putting a premium on players that can make the 15.
