I like Judge, have been really encouraged by Jones in three of the last four games, and think the Giants are better off at any point since 2012 (including 2016 when we. were 11-5). With that said, I think we could easily lose to the Bengals or any team in this league. We almost lost twice to WFT. Let's just relax and see what happens and just hope for the continued progression of our football program.

If it's okay with you, some posters might discuss keys to the game. I don't think cpgiants is saying we're destined for the SB (though there is a guy saying something close to that on another thread), but is looking to discuss the advantages to our coaching staff game planning against a rookie QB who has been sacked 32 times this season. This might be a good game to turn up the pressure a bit.
Mind you, DJ has been sacked 31 times. But, as long as our offense continues to limit turnovers, run the ball, and put points on the board, I think there is reason to feel optimistic about this match up. I don't think anyone is expecting an automatic victory or blowout, though. Maybe Ralph.C.
or two, but the Bengals offense under Joe Burrow has actually been better this season than Wentz and the Eagles. The Giants offense is still going to need to score some points and manage their own turnovers.

HE said he was "excited" about the matchup. And I was saying I can't get excited about any matchup yet, other than being excited to watch the Giants play. I actually think this will be a bad matchup for us if we are talking about x and o's. They don't protect the QB that well, but getting to the QB is not our strength. They can distribute the ball which hurts after Bradburry. The matchup I am most excited about is our offense against their defense because their defense is putrid and has only I think around 12 sacks this year. I think we can win the game on the offensive side of the ball. Is that enough talking about the game for you?
and this staff with an extra week to game plan. We've seen different wrinkles on an almost weekly basis now, so with the extra prep time I'm excited to see what Judge and co come up with to exploit the Bengals weaknesses.

I'm more concerned about them losing momentum. We just beat two teams coming off byes. I think it's a double edged sword.
Burrow has been pretty damn respectable when I have watched him and he is developing a good rapport with young wideout Tee Higgins. Joe Mixon will be back in the lineup as well from recent injuries.
Would like to see a nice dominating performance from NYG Defensive front as they should be able to win their assignments.
And are only getting better week to week. We can lose to anyone, but we can also BEAT anyone.
This team is in the cusp of greatness, just needs more talent. What we do not need is a Coach, scheme on all 3 sides of the ball or a QB.
Finally, we are being built the right way. And don't panic when a 2nd year QB throws a pick, get over it. You can complain when he should throw it away on first or second, but he has a mentality of I can make that throw. That is something you build on.

The people writing in wins and losses with this team crack me up. I don’t think it’s out of the realm of possibility we lose to Cincinnati and then come back and beat the Hawks and Cards. This team comes out and plays solid disciplined football week to week. When that happens sometimes you just need a couple things to bounce your way to beat better teams.
One of those games where the Giants could even win and that wouldn't be enough for some because the Giants didn't win in a way a fan expected them to win. I am more inclined to rest with the possibility that they are still going to show inconsistent play that is typically consistent of a team still missing key components. It's probably a good idea to temper expectations.

But I agree with the sentiment, and expect Graham to do everything possible to bogle Burrow's mind... Especially post the bye week.

Joe Brady is with the Panthers now.

First of all, the offense he excelled in at LSU and his offensive coordinator have been transplanted into Cinci, along with Burrow himself.

My bad. Thanks for the correction.
