to run the point then selfish ballhog Payton for another year as Berman is suggesting can happen. I cannot watch 70 games of Payton/Randle dominating the offense while freezing out RJ and Toppin
frank/DSJ
Bullock/Burks/quickley
RJ/Knox
Toppin/randle
Mitch/Ed Davis
This is...a bad roster. Hayward helps a lot at the wing. Moving Randle is also a must at this point.
This is a 15 to 20 win team.
Randle and DSJ are big time minus players they destroy continuity.
I don't want to see another Randle's spin move into 2 defender turnover again.
At the end of the day, we'll be the only ones left with any significant space. The only game in town to absorb those big PG numbers. Will Thibs finally crack a smile?
we haven't gone after Bogdanovic. On July 13th, 2017, he signed with the Kings. On July 14th, Perry signed from the Kings to the Knicks. Kinda weird timing, but you figure Perry had a say in bringing him over.

30 million per is crazy but it works with Ball
Lakers can only go to 12 million.
Looks like another non-competitive season.
I would take 2 years of Rozier at 19 million per if you throw in some picks or swap Cody Zeller and Rozier for Randle and a pick.
Make it happen
They do have the $27.1M expiring contract of Nic Batum to waive and stretch.
Not sure I would want a $9M cap hit over 3 seasons though.
Might be worth throwing in a future 1 to see if NYK would bite on the money.

I'd absolutely do that.

As long as it's not protected they are going to remain a lottery team for the next 3 years with the current line-up
They have some bad 1 year deals the Knicks can take on.
I agree but you need to find a way to move Randle to free up Toppin to start
So starting 5
right now
Frank
RJ
Burks
Robinson
Toppin

but do it with the Young guys, let them play andnplay together, start building something

If Frank could shoot it would be fine, put the ball in RJ hands and let him go to work with Toppin..Mitch catches the lobs
2 teams with big space left are
Knicks 29 million
Hawks 25 million
That’s a lot of money for Hayward. I hope he stays healthy but I think the Knicks made the right move passing on that.

Does anyone have a link, or know, what other teams have cap space left and how much?

Knicks still have 35 million, most likely will sign burks with the room mid level
PG: Teague, Frank, DSJ
SG: Burks, Bullock, Quickley
SF: RJ, Melo, Iggy
PF: Randle, Toppin, Knox
C: Mitch, Ed Davis
The silver lining is we should be in pole position for the Cade Cunningham sweepstakes

Teague wants to go to a winner and said he doesn't mind coming off the bench.
They probably don't want Randle after signing Wood.
Only half kidding.
The cap floor doesn't kick in til the end of the season so they don't need to do anything before the season starts technically.

no but still seems weird they are leaving their space wide open and not doing anything
