In 1983, Bill Parcells was a rookie head coach. For many reasons, the Giants had a terrible season. Parcells almost lost his job. It took that experience to make him realize that he should remake the team his way. He turned over his roster, including letting go several popular players. He also shuffled his coaching staff, firing offensive line coach Tom Bresnahan, and bringing in Fred Hoaglin. It proved to be a fortuitous move. I,for one, am happy that Judge is remaking the team in his image now, and not waiting a year to do so. What happened with Colombo, and Golden Tate, show me that he is determined to bring discipline to the team. Will Judge build the team into a champion? Time will tell...but it will be his team. Meanwhile, let the chips fall where they may.
