NFT: Breeo vs Solo Stove smokeless fire pit

DC Gmen Fan : 11/20/2020 5:50 pm
I have analysis paralysis. Help me decide!

Breeo is made in USA but more expensive. (anyone have a coupon code?)

Solo Stove seems more popular.

Thanks as always fellas
I have a solo and it works great

The reality is I doubt anyone on here has both, so you are likely to get happy customers on both sides.
There are diff sizes, but this Blue Sky pellet fire pit

Is like a flame genie. Smokeless (unless you overload it then it is a nightmare), uses pellets, burns beautifully. Came with a travel bag and brought it camping. Very nice. $80 for the portable model I got.

I have a colleague who raves about the Breeo, and

as you say it's made in the USA (in PA). Thing is, if you go for the upper end models, they sure are expensive. I'm thinking about getting a smokeless fire pit too so I'll follow this with some interest.
You could built a smokeless pit

with rocks for 1/40th the cost. OK, I don't know that, but those pits seems so outrageous in price. I've definitely looked. It's tempting.
I have a solo stove

Great fire but it if you like to keep your flaming roaring you’ll blow through wood quickly. Their fire burns hot.

All of the smokeless pits burn hot. That is kinda the concept behind them, they circulate more oxygen into the fire, causing it to burn hotter, which effectively burns up any particles that would be in the smoke.
There are a bunch of comparisons on YouTube

Have 2 Breeo X 24's
BlueHurricane : 11/21/2020 2:53 pm : link
One with the grilling attachment. Truly is smokeless and cooking burgers and steaks on the metal rim is awesome.

Buy American!

As far as your question on codes for discount -
SimpleMan : 11/21/2020 3:23 pm : link
I highly recommend installing Honey as a browser extension on your web browser. It automatically will search for any usable codes at checkout on virtually any website. Works really well.

Solo Stove is an American company (HQ in Southlake, TX). MFG is outsourced to China.
I just got an update on Slickdeals in the Outdoors category

I'm a big fan of the Tiki brand fire pit. Similar near-smokeless design when used with pellets or dry split wood. A bit cheaper and better-looking (in my opinion).
