I was invited to go tomorrow. It's extremely enticing because I've been bored out of my mind lately. However, I worried about jumping from store to store with a ton of people during a pandemic, especially now that cases are up significantly. Has anyone been there since the pandemic started? Do they take precautions? Is it somewhat safe to go?
Thanks!
1) At 4 PM until closing on a weekday it wasn't crowded compared to the usual pre pandemic mob.
2) Many people, but not all, outside wore masks.
3) Inside stores, mask wearing was 100% enforced.
Anything else you want to know? With traffic slow, there were a crazy # of good sales... But that's true everywhere now.

I read that they limit the amount of people in stores, is that true and if so are there lines?
Thanks for your response!
Thank you, that's the thing early September we had a tenth of the cases. Though, keeping it in context NY is still one of the better states in the US per capital looking at a map.
It was very quiet there. Virtually all the food vendors were closed.
My sense was there was more "concern", at least among the citizenry, at that time than now, despite rising national case counts.
NYC was a mess then, no?
