NFT: Turducken

I read it in John Madden's voice.

(All the deboning was too daunting to me). I probably cooked it wrong because I thought everything was very dry. All in all, it’s one of those things that sounded more delicious than it tasted. Now, if you offered a deconstructed turducken, I would be at your house with a bib on.

I use goldbelly (mostly for Zuppardi's pizza, but I like them)

Mine is fully deboned and layered with 2 types of sausage stuffing and one layer of cornbread stuffing.

Goldbelly has not let me down yet, although I’m hesitant at this point to pull the trigger on whole belly clams from your neck of the woods. We’ll see.

As long as you cook it properly. Make sure to have plenty of poultry gravy made up for it though.

raw? I'd buy them, they ship seafood them from the coast to all over the country. I sent my father lobsters from Maine to Florida and he said they were incredible and he's to lobsters like the father from Christmas Story is to turkey so I trust his judgment. Not via Goldbelly but I'm sure they ship them too. So I think the clams would be fine.

I've only ever got pizza through Goldbelly and Zuppardi's is the best "frozen" pizza I've ever had and I only got it because I've been to their restaurant in West Haven, CT and the pizza is really goo, but I'd get other things if I had the desire.

Dave Portnoy (barstool) did frozen pizza reviews in March when the lock downs started - I didn't even realize they shipped their pizza. and Zuppardi's was the best rated - as advertised.

Was hoping to order New Haven Clam pizza on Goldbelly but nothing there the last time I looked. I’ve never had it, NY/NJ guy that I am.

Seems like that's something you should eat "live" not shipped. I can't imagine how a clam pizza would ship, but worth a shot if you find somewhere to ship it.

That said, it's not my favorite, it's has a unique flavor and it works, but not my top choice. Pepe's (the place who made clam pizza famous) expanded to Mass and I did get one when they opened and it was good, but plain cheese or Margherita is the best from Pepe's and Sally's.

I got 2 more orders on Goldbelly must try beyond that we’ll see how it goes. I want to try Lou Malnatti’s Deep Dish pizza from Chicago and White House Subs from AC NJ. Never had an Chicago Italian Beef sandwich but i’m thinking i can replicate that easy enough so i’ll hold off on that..

I’ve done the Malnatti’s through Goldbelly. Really enjoyed it!
