Im all in on Joe Judge, but I am against changing anything when things are going good like the last 2 games.
I think we will be fine but if things go sour, you got a 3 win rookie coach who definitely put himself at risk of losing the team with this thing.
Parcells and Coughlin together have more Super Bowls than this guy has wins....
It was a calculated risk, firing an O line coach after you are done facing all of your toughest Defensive lines. But it could go all wrong.
He seems to avoid drama at all costs.....could this have been kept "in house"? What happened to handling things internally?
Now the microscope is on, and I guess we will see what happens....
Would love to know, sounds like it would take some magic or witchcraft to pull off.
So, clearly, it could backfire.
Hope not.
Move on.
Move on.
You stole my post Sy, now you are on my s** t list :)
Judge isn’t acting, this is the way he is. To suggest that he hasn’t “done enough” to act this way is ridiculous.
What cockiness are you talking about? WTF are you guys even talking about?
Everybody freaking out is doing so with no real data and just guessing, which includes the beta reporters.
Touche'
And it's not like Judge has an LT type talent on the team on defense or offense.
Idiots acting like he fired the next Belichick
I don't agree with the OP's take on Judge. But making one stupid post should not get you "cut" from BBI. If those are the standards then BBI should probably cut the guy who posted this...
"Garrett will just have that stupid pedophile smile on his face and won't say anything."
Over time you find out if you are cut out for the task.
You want to question Judge s decision making, go ahead, that s what fans do. But he he earned the right to make those decisions when he got the job.
I don’t think your post was well thought out. Coughlin make some bad decisions when he got the job but was aware enough to evolve for success.
That s how it works. Hopefully Judge will learn from the mistakes he is bound to make as well.
I don’t think firing Colombo fits the category as a ,”bad” decision, but even if it is, he certainly earned the right to make it when he got the job.
Reminiscent of Rhett Butler's: "Frankly, my dear, I dont give a damm".
The whole thread start seems to be more usefully about finding a way to use "frankly" in a sentence than about this now over analyzed attempt to make the Giants better.
And the feverish attempts to trot out their usual themes by the usual posters
The Giants were 12-36 from 2017 through 2019. It’s incredible that there are posters uncomfortable with what Judge is doing. We don’t know how this all will play out, but this franchise has needed a decisive leader at head coach for awhile now. Judge is the head coach, he should run things as he sees fit.
At least Judge is adhering to Parcells advice - either win or lose doing things your own way. If you are a HC and don't run things true to yourself or how you want, you'll never forgive yourself when it doesn't work and you get fired.

And that’s exactly Judge’s thinking. Two wins against shitty opponents meant nothing so he made a change where he felt was needed.
Add that to his reaction to learning of DDs hire and he had no choice.
It was either fire Columbo or lose credibility with the team.

to get away with stupid posts like this. I hope our GM Eric can cut this guy at half time.....which would be noon today.

...but he DOES have a pedophile smile on his face.

But frankly the OP is right and this and his supposed cockiness(if true) is something that can turn people off quickly. Think about it, say one of the leaders of the team gets into it and players think judge is in the wrong. That kind of shit wears thin quickly. Hope this is all a moot point cause I really like JJ
What cockiness are you talking about? WTF are you guys even talking about?
I second Eric's thoughts.
