NFT: Movie Night - What to Watch?

UConn4523 : 11/21/2020 7:53 pm
looking for a good movie to watch with the Mrs. tonight. I’ve got Netflix, Amazon Prime and HBO Max to choose from.

Genre I’m not picky for and I’ve watched a ton of movies lately but usually solo which means they’ve been on the darker side. I can continue that kick or go lighter, doesn’t really matter.
Hell, why not go with the new Borat movie?

with wife the other day. I believe it's a Netflix original. It's a romcom, but I enjoyed it.
We watched that earlier this week actually

"I'm Thinking of Ending Things" on Netflix.

I'm a big Charlie Kaufman fan.

We decided we're not sophisticated and are now watching Schitts Creek.

Apparently if you read the book the movie makes sense. Interesting overall but a long slog.
The Impossible on Netflix

I was going recommend Holidate too. My wife and I thought it was hilarious and she usually doesn't like romcoms.
It might have left Netflix already

But "Bushwick" is a really good, dark action flick that centers around a mysterious invasion of the Brooklyn neighborhood.
End of Watch

On Netflix.

Haven't finished it yet but had me gripped right away.

A documentary style fiction about 2 cops in South Central LA and some intertwined characters.

It is like a COPS episode directed by Quentin Tarantino. But isn't.
For years I avoided

Hot Tub Time Machine

Just watched it, and really liked it.
80's throwback, college shenanigans humor.
Anyone know where I can watch To Live and Die in LA?

This was highly recommended and I can't seem to find it anywhere!

I checked verizon, apple tv, netflix, and amazon prime without any luck.

TIA
