Eagles have the tie so one less loss. They may continue to spiral but they get New Orleans without Brees and have Dallas and Washington. They do get the Seahawk but its Monday night at home next week.
Makes 6-10 record winning the NFC East much mor possible.
If you look at the schedules the rest of way, 3-3 with a win over Dallas should do it even with Dallas win today.
Dallas has the easiest schedule.
After today they have Philly and Wash at home as well as the Bengals and Giants on the road. They could well be favored in all 4 of those games.
The 'Boys also play the 49ers at home and the Ravens on the road.
That being said...I don't think Dalls beats the Vikes today. 20 minutes left in the game and Minny has the ball down by 2.
There is no way they are going to be favored against us on the road unless we look terrible down the stretch. Regardless they'd need to finish 4-2 with a win over us. If they don't beat us and we finish 3-3 they need to finish 5-1. The Cowboys aren't doing that with Dalton at QB.
Giants just need to keep winning one week at a time and

I hope you're right but...
Dallas could well be favored against the Giants.
Even if the Giants are favored against Dallas, they will have come off a tough four game stretch against SEA, AZ, CLE and Balt.
Other than Cincy I'm not sure where those other 2 wins are coming from.
I think Dallas has more talent than NY. And despite all the grief Dalton takes, he's still an experienced NFL QB and better than Jones at this point.
At least we'll have some meaningful games after turnkey day.
I like Dalton, but he's better than DJ at this point?
You can't actually believe that and if you do I see why you are pessimistic. I'm more worried about the Cowboys D and running game coming together which it's starting to look like. It's all moot until TDay regardless, that game is going to tell us who is the biggest threat.
Dallas is not going to be favored against us if we are playing a
meaningful game. We are home in the dead of winter. The only way we aren't favored is if we aren't playing for anything to begin with so that would be a moot point.

What does it matter if we are favored or not?

Because he's making the argument that Dallas is in the driver's seat because of their easier schedule. And I'm making the argument, since we'll be favorites, they'll need to win 4 outta of their other 5 for them to have that distinction.
And rooms in Miami is February are EXPENSIVE and Dade County has an awfully high COVID rate. Unless they get the vaccine out before then.
Cheap probably. The Super Bowl is in Tampa. 😜

Philly 3-6-1 and we’re 3-7

but WFT is also only 1/2 game out.....

So is WFT 3-7
Was Burrow injured?

which has accounted for like 60% of the wins over the last 3 years.
Was Burrow injured?
yeah... they are likely going to amputate his leg before midnight
What does 2017-2019 have to do with this year? This is an entirely new season with a new coaching staff.
Me too and thanks Greg

Yes, looked bad. Like done for the season bad which is tough break because he was doing well.
But it’s part of the game.
Believe me, I’m no Giants apologist, but this team is not wretched and miserable. Cmon now.

I don’t do the should win should lose thing anymore. But I get where you are coming from.

Not sure 3-3 does it.

3-3 is the best we can hope for.. beat Cincy, Dallas, and either Browns or Cards.
Can't see us beating Seattle or Baltimore, unless Baltimore is eliminated from playoff contention.
