Per Begley & Wojo confirmed.
Source confirms Jacob Evans has been acquired by Knicks via trade with Minnesota. ESPN reports Omari Spellman and a second round pick are also coming to New York in exchange for Ed Davis. Knicks have acquired 3 second-round picks in acquiring/trading Davis’ $5 million salary.

Says he was a pick and roll passer and learned to play off the ball
I've never seen a single Lord of the Rings (or Lord of the Rings related movie, or any of the 500 Fast and the Furious movies). So there's that lol
Really embracing the Amare comparisons, huh
I've seen this elsewhere as well. Would be intriguing if he can play PG at the NBA level. At least one PG who can shoot a little would be helpful.

Thanks for posting that, interesting.
Think I read somewhere that Obi is potentially a deadly PnR player.
Could explain why Knicks were higher on Quickley than most.
I think they over drafted his shooting.
He is definitely a tweener but has a good stroke and a very solid defender.
IMO he will never be starting PG but a good role player that can hit the open 3
Quickley scouting report - ( New Window )
Glad he is gone, he took some of the worst shots, got hot every 5 games..
Jist never liked him and he is already 26
Strange the Knicks showed no interest in bringing him back. Good shooter. Maybe they just view him as a Phil pick and want to move on?
@JMacriNBA
Being told that the Knicks have opened dialogue with the Charlotte Hornets about a potential swap between Frank Ntilikina (sadly) and Terry Rozier

Marci just tweeted out that this is a fake account

Apparently, this was a fake macri account?

4, maybe 5 PGs is a notable one. Assuming they wont trade Rivers, Payton and Quickley, have to think Frank and/or DSJ is on the move.
Same with Randle, who is just blocking Toppin.
They're still also way below the salary floor.
They have to get rid of 1 guy before season starts..
They obviously have no trust in Frank or DSJ..
Not really. I believe they can go over the cap to retain him and there is no risk of losing him so it makes sense to wait.
They don't have 50 million to offer. They have something like 30, Ingram isn't signing an offer sheet 1 for 30 when his max is 5 for 158.3
Good point here. I remember one year with the Hinkie Sixers they were way below the salary floor and the players were excited they going to get a good amount of money split up. Problem was Hinkie traded for a big salaried player at the deadline to reach the minimum. Supposedly the team was very pissed about it.
Kay should not be allowed to talk about anything but baseball. Hayward at 4 years and that money was something Isiah Thomas would have done.
Hr also said laat week the Kbicks should trade the 8th pick for Westbrook
Obi (30)/Randle (18)
RJ (36)/Burks (12)
Rivers (30)/Burks (18)
Payton (24)/Frank (24)
Out of rotation:
Bullock
DSJ
Spellman
Quickley
Iggy
Harper
Knox
Pinson
There just has to be a trade. You can't have DSJ and Knox rot on the bench. Would love to find minutes for Quickley too, but I'm not sure where.

I'd expect to see deeper rotation and flatter minute allotments in the first few weeks of the season. Going to be very interesting to see if any of these guys were able to really progress during the incredibly long offseason - and worth giving everyone enough burn to suss that out before making big moves I think.
I would start both and put the ball in Rjs hands
I don't think Rivers needs any minutes, personally
Indications are the Knicks have cooled on the idea of handing the keys to the franchise to Russell Westbrook.
According to sources, Knicks GM Scott Perry, who drafted Oladipo when with Orlando, would like to explore that avenue, but Knicks president Leon Rose is less eager. Oladipo has yet to return to elite form since knee surgery nearly two years ago.

Unless the Knicks engage the Pacers in a trade for scoring guard Victor Oladipo, this could be all she wrote. Embrace the rebuild.

Seems like Perry is just a figurehead at this point, Perrin, Aller and Wes are probably more highly thought of
