Where will OBJ play next year?

Milton : 11/22/2020 8:42 pm
He is due & 15.75M in compensation next year and the honeymoon is over in Cleveland. There is no cap hit for releasing him, so it wouldn't surprise me if they either trade him or cut him. Especially coming off an ACL injury. Although that may mean he has to pass a physical before being cut (or accepting in a trade). So if he's not in Cleveland next year, where might he find a home?

San Francisco had interest a couple years ago and they still have a need at WR. I wouldn't completely rule out the Giants, but there are more reasons why that won't happen than reasons it could. The ACL injury will be a bigger scare to teams than his mouth, but at the right price I think most teams with their eye on the prize will have interest.

Will OBJ follow the money or will he look for the best opportunity to shine? I imagine it will be a combination of the two. Bonus points for teams that play in warm weather and/or cosmopolitan cities.
I don’t see

That would be one of my last guesses but who knows. They just signed Kupp and Woods to big deals. Then they drafted Van Jefferson who is very promising. They also have other guys like Reynolds.

By the Saints on an incentive laden one year “show me” deal.
Don't know.

He had HOF potential, but his body hasn't held up. He's not the same guy before that injury vs. the Chargers.
And people will still say that the Browns got the better of that trade

Beckham was a complete freak of nature. Seeing him play live(saw him basically beat the ravens) was one of those things you will remember forever. He got to top speed about as fast ss anyone ive ever seen.

He should have been a HOF guy

he was a dynamic and fun player to watch at the beginning of his career. I won’t miss his antics and he seemed to care too much about his brand.
I can see him..

Browns owe him nothing. So he'd be free to go where he choses and sign a new deal. Probably a warm weather team on a one year prove it contract. He will have some suitors.
I think he is about done.
