So I'm just looking at Big Ten standings & I guess I've been living under a rock, but PSU is 0-5? WTF? I'm sure we got some Nittany Lions fans here-and a lot of haters too-but WTF is going on in Happy Valley?
PSU added 4 new coaches right before Covid hit, who didn't have the opportunity to implement their new systems due to lack of spring practice
Lost our best offensive player RB Journey Brown (top 5 back) who retired a week before the season due to a heart condition.
Lost our 2nd string RB on the 1st drive of the season for the rest of the year
Our 3rd string RB is really a 3rd down back, and is backed up by 2 true freshman
Lost our best defensive player Micah Parsons due to Covid opt-out -- we NEED him on the Giants :)
In 2 of the 5 losses, we outgained the opponent 500 yards to 300 yards and still lost. Mainly issues with red zone offense.
I love Micah Parsons. I’ve seen a few folks on this board talk him up as well. There are lots of needs on this team but man he could be a game wrecker.

Jim Harbaugh gets slaughtered by the media and fans, but not much anti Franklin.
Two things. First, Franklin isn’t half as polarizing or famous as Harbaugh. Of course Harbaugh will get more press, good and bad. Secondly, with the way you Michigan fans constantly gloated and puffed your chests out and proclaimed multiple National Championships were on the horizon when they hired Harbaugh, are you really surprised that the other side is going to rub your noses in it a little bit? Michigan fans were absolutely brutal after that hire.
Indiana pulled that against Penn State, gets the ball back, ties it up, and wins in first overtime. Crazy.

Franklin is a great recruiter. He is a weak in game coach.
