Under 48 and Rams money line. Really thought Rams D would hold to field goals and give the outright win a puncher’s chance. Not looking good on that so far.

That was def smart play. Originally I like Bucs, but so fishy and we are seeing that play out. If it weren't for the refs Rams would be winning. This is pretty trash so far.
20/20 hindsight, seems to not have been worth the first overall pick or his big second contract.
He's okay. Could do worse. I just wonder how good McVay's offense would be with an athlete under center. Probably near unstoppable if he had a guy like DJ.

I think we are in decent shape as far as under goes as long as their no TD before half. These teams are going to stop each other in red zone after half once they make adjustments.

Yeah there is hope still. Disappointed how those first few series went. Really needed Rams to hold them to 10, not 14.
Need a defensive 3rd quarter.
Took a peek at 2nd half total and it made no sense to me
watching this game until Reise dropped these are the top two scoring teams in second half. 24.5 seemed awfully high in a pretty defensive battle. A few bullshit penalties and perfection in redzone.
Can't help himself. Also, The Rams were going QB that draft. It was him or Wentz. Looks like they did go the right way, but yeah the 2nd contract was a huge mistake. Man those 2 qbs at one time looked to be the future at one point...
For my under peeps, Yes, miss!! (I got the Bucs outright)
Watching the refs in this game I'd almost believe the league is hell bent on getting Brady into the Superbowl which is in Tampa. Sure they'd love that story.
It was in his hand and he started ,going forward with the pass.
I'd lean towars that as well, but that really isn't the issue. That's so damn close they are supposed to let that go and review it. I don't understand how you watch that live and are so confident its a forward pass you blow the whistle.
He actually ruled the double pass as a completion. It is a foul and can't stand, no matter if the penalty is accepted or declined.
He was the Super Bowl referee in 2012 which many other officials think was undeserved and a fix by the powers that be at the time. He has not got a postseason on field assignment since then. It is a disgrace that he got a Super Bowl and the referee whose number he got (23) Johnny Grier never did.

Exactly. They were lucky the replay confirmed the call but there is no way in real time they knew that was a forward pass. If that’s Jones they call it a fumble and then say the replay was inconclusive

Are you sure about that? I don’t see anything in the rule book that says the defense can’t take the result of the play.
It is an illegal forward pass. It isn't a legal play to be accepted or declined. It would be like having a QB cross the line of scrimmage, complete a pass and the defense gets the option to decline the penalty. No. Once the QB crosses the LOS, it is an illegal play, regardless of what action the opposition wants to take.
and somewhat confused this year. That pass was awful, especially given the circumstances. They only needed a fg and had 2 full minutes to work with, no need to force that throw
But man..Arians and Leftwich are awful. They can’t help themselves to not go vertical on one drive. 2 min drill you need to just let Brady slice and dice it. Quick slants, screens, etc.
Penalties:
(a) For a forward pass from beyond the line: Loss of down and five yards from the spot of the
pass. See 14-8-2. See S.N. 3 below.
(b) For a second forward pass from behind the line, or for a forward pass that was thrown after
the ball returned behind the line: Loss of five yards
Wait so if a QB crosses the line of scrimmage and throws a pick
he’s been atrocious this year beyond 10 yards. Blueprint was alway out on Brady but it’s more pronounced now - pressure up the middle and you will get a lot of bad throws.
How awesome is Jalen Ramsey. This defense would be sick with him on it. Bullshit flag

Unbelievable, considering they are supposed to let it go when its that close. I could see that being a fumble it was so damn close.
That was amazing. I went back and listened to it and the whistle blows just as the ball is out of his hand!
On one hand, happy because I took under. On other hand my fantasy season is over with a loss and a rams TD would win it for me.

What's with that double pass?
He's not in Foxboro anymore. He's got a 10 mile stare.

Can an illegal forward pass completion be considered a result of the play?
I think so. I don’t see that particular foul not allowing the play to continue until the ball is dead.
It is spelled out that the illegal forward pass can be intercepted, so that’s one case where the play continues.
