NFT: The Ting Tings: That's Not My Name

Milton : 11/25/2020 8:29 am
I had never heard of the duo, but I recently came across this song of theirs and I can't stop watching this particular live performance of it.

First of all it's a fun song (that's actually quite sad). Second of all, I think the lead singer is sexy as hell (especially the way her breasts bounce when she's dancing). Third of all, it's a helluva live performance by her and partner (the drummer). Fourth of all, it's the first time I've ever seen a live stage performance that included the use of a loop. And fifth of all, did I mention that the lead singer is sexy as all get out (in my humble opinion)?

Kind of late to the game, aren’t we? Song is from 2010. Better late than never. It is a fun catchy tune. Thanks for sharing the live version.
that was one of the more

annoying songs of its own or any era.

if you want to see bouncy tits you're already on the internet, no need to sit through that screeching.

Every now and then I'll click on one of youtube's suggestions and find myself late to the party on a lot of fun "guilty pleasure" music. I recently discovered the song "Brave" by Sara Bareilles, who I'd previously never even heard of.

I don't really stay current on music and haven't for quite some time.

That song came up in my YouTube "suggested tunes" when I was listening to some old "They Might Be Giants" tracks, so I gave it a listen.

I kinda liked the song, but what do I know.
I liked the studio version better

like most songs, it's crisper/more polished

Looping is widespread. Have seen many local performers use it. It's all over the place on youtube

I like the way they bring it on home in the live version. They bring it to a more feverish pitch than in the studio.
more of a shut up and let me go man myself

I liked it when it came out, it was an interesting novelty, but I haven’t listened to it in years.

a live performance with a loop? Do you only watch Allman Brothers concerts from the 1970's?
