I know there are a bunch of gamers on this board and I wanted to share a great tip we just learned.
There is a service called Microsoft XBOX Game Pass Ultimate, and it is 15/month for access to a slew of games from MS, EA Sports, etc. I don't know if this is a new thing, but it is available for Xbox and/or PC. The first month is $1, and 15/month thereafter.
HOWEVER! If you have ANY prior active subscription, upgrading will convert your ENTIRE EXISTING subscription to Ultimate. So, if you have Xbox Live Gold for 18 months in your account, you will get 18 months of XBOX Ultimate for $1, and you will only be charged 15/month in the 19th month.
You can max out at 36 months according to Microsoft. That is $180 total for Xbox Live Gold + $1 for ultimate off of Amazon, which works out to about $5/month for 36 months. That is for BOTH PC and Console.
(Pro tip: If you buy 3x12 month Xbox Live Gold, do NOT accept the free month if you select auto-pay when redeeming your codes. You will be unable to claim the last one because you will have gone over 36 months. Personally, I bought 2x12 and 1x6 months of Xbox Live Gold for about $150).
