Sanders/Boston killed us.
Antonio Gibson/Mckissic look like quite a duo.
Pollard/Zeke will be back next year with Dak and a rebuilt OL.
We saw Ryan get outrun vs Scott. Martinez struggled vs Sanders and Kelce.
You need someone next to Martinez badly. McKinney/Ximinies will help to match up against these backs, but someone else at LBs especially ILB who can cover too since they are all great receiving backs is critical.
Id put this above 2nd Corner but behind edge rusher as needs for the defense.
Crowder has a lot to prove imo, well see the last six games. Downs/Mayo are JAGs.
Unless Fassel said it was there. Guys the best specials coach in the game so you’d defer to his opinion. But there’s still plenty of time down 4 and getting it doesn’t even guarantee you anything
Its one of those calls that would've been called brilliant if it worked
But it was like 4th & 10 no? The odds of that being successful are pretty damn slim.

People say that all the time, but I think most rational people would chock that up to getting lucky, but dumb decision. Nothing about that situation warranted the risk of a fake punt. Especially a complicated one like that because you need to get what 8 yards?
Like that fake punt isn't Reasons in the '90 NFC title game
There are a lot of bad o lines and tight ends in the NFL. They can’t pass block even with the new rules and they can’t block for shit on short yardage. The TE are terrible. There are 3 or 4 in the entire league who are worth a shit.
Back in the day Barry Switzer's job was hanging by a thread but I seem to remember him sealing his fate by going for it and failing on a 4th and 1 on his side of the field. As for McCarthy, even the Jets had the sense to stay away from this burnout. Not only is he a bad coach, but one has to wonder about his mental stability.
Run the ball early and often with Gallman and target Slayton early and often. Pretty much the WFT gameplan with McLaurin and Gibson.
On defense, you have to blitz and get after Dalton and play man with these terrible OL. If you sit back in zone Dalton will have time with these 3 great WR to pick you apart. That was a mistake of the gameplan the first them they met.
That fake punt is literally burying the Cowboys season

If memory serves, Dallas went for 4th down in a game at Philly & didn't get it, but a TO was called before the play. Then Barry decided to go for it again & they got stuffed a second time.

We are not the WFT. They can cover throughout their back 4. We have some weak links. That’s one of the few ways we could lose, their WRs having big plays. Gallup had a rough day today as well. This game was unbelievably close until that idiotic fake punt. Zeke ghost fumbling is the real difference maker in this one. Holds onto ball there we could certainly be telling a different story. We need to run the ball and control the football. Dallas defense is so soft and undisciplined. Run run run PA all day.
on Monday. Feel like with that guy dying last night Cowboys win by a billion today now unfortunately.
Cowfucks-Dickskins game has the makings of being very good. 2 good front 7s. Fucks might have rhe significant advantage in weapons, but the Dicks have an advantage on the O line and are much more disruptive along the D line.
Unless you are a child, is it cool to reference team names with these witty alterations? As an adult? Asking for a friend.
Haha. Nah, I've been as down on the Giants as much as anyone, but I have to eat some crow: they, and this is weird for me to type, look like the best team in the division this year. Their record should be better than 3-7. And I think they're going to finish strong, which might be enough in an awful division to win the crown.
RE: RE: Didn't Jerry fire Switzer for going on 4th down ?

I remember that game. Very embarrassing.
I wish I could hear what Dalton and Smith were sayinf
too each other. Smith. “Tell Big Mike thx for giving me the ball back up 4 just outside the red zone. “
Dalton - -pointing wildly where it happened-“can you believe that shit. Thought I left the Bengals to get away from that shit! UFB”
The Giants should be able to beat a Burrowless Bungles team after 2 weeks of rest, it would also just be so NYG-like to lose with 1st place in their sights. Unless... this Joe Judge team is different in some fundamental way!
If the Giants win the division, they do it without Barkley
And should this happen (and I think it could), what does it say about Barkley's style of running and/or his value? Or do we say it's simply the improvement of the O-line?

Really? I didn't see comments like this when Jones was out-rushing any RB on this roster by two-three times.
Anyone who knows anything about football knows the improvement in the running game has come because of the offensive line, not because of "different running styles."
Only a moron would claim that any of the running backs on the roster now are better than Barkley.

. Not sure how this follows at all. If we win the division, we still are under .500 this year. We would be a better team with him on the field.

I thought you discouraged posts that contained personal insults, Eric. I guess I was wrong.

What I'm suggesting is this. If the Giants win without Barkley, and they do it primarily because of improved offensive line play, it hardly matters that Barkley was "touched by the hand of God", and it would make little sense to pay Barkley $15-20 million a year if you can without him (provided the offensive line is effective).
I should add that I was opposed to drafting Barkley because to me, drafting Josh Allen made a lot more sense. I had no interest in Darnold, Rosen, or Mayfield.

I'm not claiming the other running backs are better. I'm saying that if the Giants win without Barkley, there's no reason to consider him indispensible and worth $15-20 a year. Spend the money elsewhere and forget the notion that he was "touched by the hand of God".
We just beat two losing teams on the way to our third
The biggest need right now is offensive playmakers. Saquon would be crushing what our RBs put up. He’d be rushing for 5.5 yards a clip this year based on what he’s put up compared his counterparts. Teams that do that win games more than not. Now I believe he needs to stay fairly healthy to justify paying him elite RB money, that’s going to be the big question mark This offense needs playmakers desperately..

I’m sure Eric is well aware of the motivation behind your original post. It was clear as day what you were getting at. And your opinion is incredibly flawed. This team is desperate for playmakers. And Barkley is one of the best. He completely changes how defenses gameplan and scheme. He opens everything else up for the passing game, which has struggled mightily without him.
By your logic, if the Giants win the division, it’s proof that there is no need to add a pass rusher. They won the division without any! There is not need to add secondary players. No need to improve the LBs. No need to add WR, we must be all set, they won the division!

its the difference in the game. coaching matters.
Great result for NYG here, IMO.
Zeke, Gibson, Barkley, Sanders.
Immensely. Ready for the post game on the Ticket
Two shitty games on today. The Ravens fucked us like a Thanksgiving bird.
Giants should be leading the division by 3 games right now. So frustrating

One more win would not have us up 3 games

You dint have any friends...die.
Weeks later I’m sure some of those posters will say WFT is the favorites in the NFC East and better than NYG.
