Play the games. I don't get the postponing thing unless they can't field a full roster.
I agree. I think it’s bullshit if they accommodate them - they will likely point to too staff being out to make it work I bet, deflecting from the players.
RE: Why is it anyone else's problem other than BAL?
Play the games. I don't get the postponing thing unless they can't field a full roster.
Because as of now they continue to get new positives every single day. It is not about catering to Baltimore. It’s about the possiof sending players/coaches onto the field that may be positive and don’t know it yet
is switch this game to Tues if they can then Dallas vs Baltimore to Monday (as a double header). They cpuld forgo a Thursday game in that case. The one problem there would be Pittsburgh who would be playing on Sunday. But, you could move that game to Sunday night and move Subday night game to 4:25..
Either way a week 18 is starting to seem like a possibility..

A lookahead idea for the NFL to consider in Week 13: move the Steelers-Washington game from Sunday up to Thursday, while pushing the Ravens-Cowboys game from Thursday to Sunday.
With Baltimore out of the facility until at least Monday, this buys time for the NFL.
Well, I think, as of a couple weeks ago, they had penciled in a window for teams to play games that had been previously postponed.
But I don't know if they counted on a single team needing to play two games.
From what I understand Ravens are the tightest team in NFL FO. They’ll bend over backwards to accommodate them as much as possible.
Given that the league has done it already for other teams, I don't think forcing the game to be played is an option.

Continue testing and see if things are under control.
Moving the game simply because your star player is out isn't fair to the rest of the league.
Moving the game if the threat of spread is real is obivous legitimate.
Then you move all the next week games to Monday/Tues to give teams more time to prepare.
Thats the simplest move and figure out the TV rights after.
But if Ravens continue to get positive tests, its week 18 or forfeit. No real other options.
Yes, but BAL already played WAS.
That's a long hibernation.
Agree. Raiders' played without a few of their O line without their game being postponed. No reason baltimore should get preferential treatment
