and is out of the game vs the Steelers.
I would think he's out vs the Cowboys too... Only 7 days away

That is true..

Crazy times..
Interesting to see if the NFL
UConn4523 : 11/26/2020 8:06 pm : link
moves things around so he can play next week. I wouldn’t put it past them.
This sucks

If Jackson misses the Dallas game. It’s one of their only few tough games remaining.
It's looking like
BlackLight : 11/26/2020 8:20 pm : link
they might postpone Sunday's game again. And if they do that, logic dictates they postpone the game vs. Dallas too.
This has to go to a week 18

Does everyone get another bye week? How will this work?

Well, I think, as of a couple weeks ago, they had penciled in a window for teams to play games that had been previously postponed.

But I don't know if they counted on a single team needing to play two games.
Dallas losing today is huge
UConn4523 : 11/26/2020 8:27 pm : link
if Jackson ends up being out for that game.

From what I understand Ravens are the tightest team in NFL FO. They’ll bend over backwards to accommodate them as much as possible.
Why is it anyone else's problem other than BAL?

Play the games. I don't get the postponing thing unless they can't field a full roster.

Given that the league has done it already for other teams, I don't think forcing the game to be played is an option.

I agree. I think it’s bullshit if they accommodate them - they will likely point to too staff being out to make it work I bet, deflecting from the players.

Because as of now they continue to get new positives every single day. It is not about catering to Baltimore. It’s about the possiof sending players/coaches onto the field that may be positive and don’t know it yet
The best thing they could do
jvm52106 : 11/26/2020 8:45 pm : link
is switch this game to Tues if they can then Dallas vs Baltimore to Monday (as a double header). They cpuld forgo a Thursday game in that case. The one problem there would be Pittsburgh who would be playing on Sunday. But, you could move that game to Sunday night and move Subday night game to 4:25..

Either way a week 18 is starting to seem like a possibility..
Interesting

A lookahead idea for the NFL to consider in Week 13: move the Steelers-Washington game from Sunday up to Thursday, while pushing the Ravens-Cowboys game from Thursday to Sunday.

With Baltimore out of the facility until at least Monday, this buys time for the NFL.
I would think you move the game maybe till...
BillKo : 11/26/2020 8:51 pm : link
...Tuesday?

Continue testing and see if things are under control.

Moving the game simply because your star player is out isn't fair to the rest of the league.

Moving the game if the threat of spread is real is obivous legitimate.
Moving the game to Tuesday/Wed might make the most sense
nym172 : 11/26/2020 8:57 pm : link
but thats if theres no more positives.

Then you move all the next week games to Monday/Tues to give teams more time to prepare.

Thats the simplest move and figure out the TV rights after.

But if Ravens continue to get positive tests, its week 18 or forfeit. No real other options.
I admit to a trace of curiosity about what RG III has left.

Obviously, it’s not great for the Giants if Griffin plays against DAL or WAS, but it would be some story if he stepped in and beat Washington.
Sorry - my mistake
Big Blue Blogger : 11/26/2020 9:11 pm : link
Thought BAL still had to play WAS.

Yes, but BAL already played WAS.
Griffin might get a shot at his other former team.

Week 14 vs. Cleveland.
RG III
ray in arlington : 11/26/2020 9:18 pm : link
Since 2016, he's essentially played one game.
That's a long hibernation.
I remember being so depressed in 2012
BlackLight : 11/26/2020 9:21 pm : link
seeing RGIII as a rookie in Washington, and thinking he was going to our waking nightmare twice a year for the next fifteen years.

Agree. Raiders' played without a few of their O line without their game being postponed. No reason baltimore should get preferential treatment
