This is a good game to ease him back. Give him 15-25 snaps and then increase them each week.

Alabama safeties have been largely successful in the NFL and was honestly most excited about him as a pick. We are utilizing Peppers better than anyone has in his career, Logan Ryan has been solid as well as versatile in the backend, having a young, quick thinking safety back there could really help down the stretch.

Btw, what the hell happened with Julian Love?! He has been a shell of what he was last year.

Jay, don't you think 15 - 25 on the high side? I'd guess 10 - 15 and imo his impact will be less than the high expectations here. No real camp, 12-week layoff, no reps under game conditions, all his 'zoom book learning' has minimal carry through to live game. Tough set-up for his first game, hence I expect snaps to be fewer unless outcome out of reach one way or other.

Perhaps but I think the Giants will have a 2 score lead in the 4th quarter and they will utilize that time by giving McKinney more snaps.

Have to get the Alabama game tapes to plan for McKinney now, unreal.
