Pederson says he won't do anything with Wentz because that would signal the season is over. it is one thing to say no change, but it is quite another to say that the change will bot help the team. Thus, you have to think that this might have been forced on him?
The Wentz fall from grace is something that still doesn't make complete sense to me.
I think its a combination of physical and mental. Hes had quite a few injuries. He also got hurt during an MVP caliber campaign and watched his backup become a folk hero for finally delivering a SB to a title starved city and fan base. And not long after that guy moves on, they draft a QB with a premium pick. It would take a lot to just shrug all that off and not have it linger in the back of your mind.
I think the Eagles move on from him this offseason. Indy seems like a good landing spot but it almost makes too much sense.
which helps avoid the pass rush. I think Wentz's problem is a combination of bad offensive line and the receivers not always getting separation. We'll know Monday night whether Hurts knows the playbook and is in sync with his receivers.
Look no farther than the o-line, the skill players and
For all the pissing and moaning about the o-line here, we have not lost one o-lineman for any length of time. The Eagles and Cowboys have each had theirs wrecked by injury. The Eagles also lost skill players for periods of time. Pedersen is a gambler who has been rolling the dice and coming up snake eyes as has Wentz.
The “out” year in his contract is 2022, and Hurts is cheap enough to bring along slowly. If the Eagles move on from Wentz, he could Head homeward to Minnesota, where Cousins hits a cut year in 2022 as well.
His biggest strength is his biggest weakness just like Jones. When you are losing his agressiveness becomes a weakness

Exactly. Pederson might as well tell the ref that they surrender the down and save everyone some time.
This is setting up to be an ugly divorce between Wentz and Philly...
and I can't help but LMAO!

Wentz didn't suddenly forget how to play qb.

They aren’t effective because he isn’t getting enough chances, or real plays. They need to use him more, IMO.
