Yiadom has been improving each game since he's been back. At this rate I would not call him a liability, he's probably an average corner progressing to an above average second corner. Does his progression mean we no longer need a second corner and can now spend the money on ryan, williams, and Dalvin? With our needs being ER, Wr, TE, swing tackle.
It can also suggest his lack of confidence making a roster?
:-)
I wouldnt be surprised if we brought in someone like Kevin King or Chidobe Awuzie and then also took a CB in the top 2 rounds.
Let's see how he holds up.
What am I saying? I'm saying Yiadom might be our CB2 of the future and we don't even know it.
Should have plenty of $$$ to do this + more
Today’s NFL you need 5 CB who you believe could play. You are almost in a base D with 3 most f the time. Problem is there are not that many. We really are in a good spot having 1 excellent corner and appear to have the nickel corner
While he has gotten better, Yiadom is the type of CB you are always looking to upgrade from and have him as the depth
Imagine when we get more really good players who are well coached and we still have JAGs who are outplaying their talent.
He might be successful but planning on it is not wise.
It's still definitely a big need
Alex Smith is a shitty QB?
Tell you what, I was not impressed by Wilson last night.
But should the hang their hat on Yiadom next year? No. Maybe as a 3rd or 4th CB - a solid replacement. But CB is definitely a place for upgrade.
ER, CB, WR, ILB
It can also suggest his lack of confidence making a roster?
Here's the scenario:
-Beal, often injured, hasn't show much.
-Brand new coaching staff during an unpredictable offseason
Im Beal. If I don't make this team...and its likely i wont, given the short window to impress and no preseason game resume opportunity, then my career is probably over. Best option, wait out covid and come in fresh for 2021 with enough time to put a resume together if i dont stick with Giants.
He might be successful but planning on it is not wise.
