NFT: Best Friends Dad Has Weeks To Live - Looking For BBI's Help

My best friends dad just found out he has stage 4 pancreatic cancer and has weeks to live at best. I practically grew up with him and he's been like a second father to me. He's probably the greatest guy I've ever known and one of the biggest giants fans ive ever met. To say I'm heartbroken would be an understatement.

Tomorrow also happens to be his birthday and he should be coming home for hospice. I would love if I was able to surprise him by getting someone from the giants to either FaceTime him for his birthday or even a pre recorded birthday message for him. I know it would mean the world to him. He was also in the NYPD for over 25 years. Great guy all around.

If anyone has any connections or somewhere to point me in the right way to possibly make this happen I would really appreciate it. Sorry for the rambling, this is still all really new to me. Thanks all in advance. Praying for a miracle here.

My brother died the day after the Giants last SB. A friend reached out to Hanlon and the Giants sent an autographed footvall to his kids and flowers to the funeral home.

We also had an event to raise money for his family and the Giants donated the lineup card for the San Francisco game signed by the kicker, holder and snapper.

Pure class organization. I'm sure they woud do something.

To hear about your friends Dad, hang in there, maybe you guys can watch the game with him on Sunday if he is up to it, that might mean more to him then anything to be honest, watching the game with the people you love, nothing can beat that.

Do not mean to be insensitive but, Pancreatic is practically a death sentence.

It is 1 of the things that drives me crazy about the disease - there does not seem to be any symptoms. Doctors always say ... "if you catch it early the chances of survival are much greater". How can you catch it early if the body is not telling you that something is wrong?

Stage 4 before he knew he had it. Sorry bro ...

the Giants FO, with stuff like this. Coach Coughlin signed his book for my uncle's birthday ... was a last-minute request, and Hanlon had the book overnighted out to Huntington so it was there for the birthday party. Meant a lot to a guy who watched the team at the Polo Grounds.

So sorry to hear about this...
