LOL, I remember Stoney Woodson, and his other dredlock twin drafted that year. That was the year my confidence in "In Reese we trust" was first shaken a little bit. I remember Reese coming out after the draft for his press briefing on the players drafted and he had nothing of value to say about Stoney and the other dude.... He was all like, "Size, weight speed guys.... We liked their stats in the division they played... etc." He had nothing to say about actual scouting on the players. Because I don't think he or anyone else in the organization had ever scouted either of them before the draft. I still can't figure out why they did not just trade the late picks to move up in the premium rounds if they had no clue what they were going to do with the late picks when they got to the point anyway?
They kept that CB from was it Albany? He wasn't drafted, but reports out of camp were promising. So they kept him over over a drafted player, which I think is a positive indicator of how they are managing the squad.

Compensatory 7th Round picks are generally glorified UDFA's. Teams have been known to target players they worry about losing in that process rather than strictly going by your board. For example, if you had only 1 or 2 DB's left with draftable grades but a bunch of WR's, you might take the DB rather than a higher ranked WR because you figure you will get at least one after the draft
LOL I was thinking the same thing
Agreed. Tuggle was the last pick in a 12 round draft, not 7.
