they know how to win playoff games. But that D of theirs is just brutal. This Ravens Titans game is just weird. Something has to give. Jackson is due for a big playoff performance but the titans know how to play these games. Ravens D is solid. Tits D is not.
Chicken comes home to roost. Lack of D inevitably catches up to you in January. Sometimes it can take a week but it always bites you in the end. In this case, it won't take a week. The Tits are doomed. Take the Ravens. Take Lamar Jackson and that running game. All the Ravens need to do is get 2-3 stops and this game is theirs. Ravens by 7.
How Titans are dogs at home. Whooped them last year too.
They have one of the worst defenses in football. They have to be the worst defensive team in the tourney. Sounds weird to even say that but it is true. I hate going against them but the Ravens have righted the ship lately. Jackson had a really good second half of the season. Tits should be a dog. Last year they should have been on everyone's radar but not this year.
don't like predicting injuries, but I think Tom Brady is in big big trouble against that Skins front seven. Brady doesn't make it out of that game healthy. Cold weather. Nasty nasty front line and the Skins will beat the fuck out of Brady in this one. Bucs probably win, but Brady will be knocked out. Tampa has been weird all year. This game will be no different.
I think the Titans are a better team, but I don't trust that defense. They seem to be getting worse
Yep my take as well. Same teams for me. I hate going against Tenn but I can't pick that defense anymore. They have been terrible. If they showed at least some shred of good play in a game or two down the stretch i'd be all in, but they haven't.
Could the titans D go the way of the 2006 Colts and figure shit out in January? Sure why not. But I aint buyin it.
there is always one or two insanely wacky WC games
Lamar Jackson is part of the future there most likely. If the Titans make you one dimensional can you go out and win with your arm against a terrible pass D? He already has playoff experience there so really no excuses for him.
Browns Steelers is interesting as hell too, say they have no chance considering everything, but lots of familiarity there. Steelers are broken, but Browns have no playoff experience. Ugh I feel like this time next year Pederson laying down is really going to hurt our chances next year.
obviously hurt, but Jackson threw for 365 yards and ran for 140 in the AFC divisional game vs TEN.
Do you think people still have questions if he's part of the future in BAL? I didn't get that sense.
Did you watch that game? That was all essentially with the Titans playing prevent and then a couple of absolutely boneheaded defensive back plays. His 3 TO's ended the game before it barely even began!
Then what? It isn't like the Ravens are at some massive talent deficit. The Titans offense is explosive, but their defense is trash. I'm not even saying go out there and win a road playoff game (although there will certainly be questions there if goes 0-3) but not sinking the game before it even starts would be a start. He played a game you expect a guy with no playoff experience to throw out there last time around.
I think the most intersting thing is if the Ravens are put in a position where they need to throw can Lamar at least give you a chance. That's what I'm really looking for and hoping to get a chance to see. And there's a chance they are able to shorten the hell out of the game and establish the run so who knows what we'll get.

I've lived in Nashville for 12 years now and the Titans have become my "AFC team" (though of course I don't feel near the type of die hard fandom for ANY team the way I do for the Giants). Last year was really their year and it's too bad they couldn't get the job done. That team was so good and was super hot at the end of the season, I was almost certain they were going to win the whole thing. Dominant O-Line, Henry running over everyone, Tannehill looked flawless, efficient, throwing for tons of yardage, and their D was very solid. In so many ways they reminded me of the '07 Giants team, probably even moreso than any NFL team SINCE that team. HIt even looked like they were about to knock off the Chiefs, but that's just a testament to how good Mahomes is and how he just as that "gamer" mentality that always finds a way to win. His long scramble for a TD was an absolute back breaker in the AFCCG and the Titans never quite recovered after that.
Bills over Colts - Easy pick
Seahawks over Rams - could be a good game
Bucs over Washington - Brady will eat that team. Almost no production from 4 1st rounders
Ravens over Titans - Lamar will pick apart a bad D
Saints over Bears - ha ha
Steelers over Browns - as stated covid problem
Steelers over Browns
Titans over Ravens
Saints over Bears
Seattle over Washington
Bucs over Rams

I'm hoping the Championship games are Brees vs Brady in NFC and Ravens vs Bills in AFC
Seahawks over Rams.
Bucs over Washington.
Ravens over Titans (game of the weekend IMO).
Saints over Bears.
Steelers over Browns.
I know Steelers aren't as good as record, but Browns have a Covid issue.

Rams over Seahawks. Wilson contained.
Bucs over Washington. Washington crushed.
Ravens over Titans. Lamar with more rushing yards than Henry.
Saints over Bears. Trubisky looks lost.
Steelers over Browns. Steelers D comes alive.
