Surprised there has been no discussion of clock management on the Colts final drive. Indy got the ball back at their own 14 with 2:30 to go. They only had to get into field goal range to extend the game into overtime. They reached their 30 at the two minute warning. From there they ended up at the Bills 47 with 14 seconds left. They burned 1:47 off the clock to move the ball 23 yards. Have to do a better job than that, especially when it may be Rivers last attempt to go anywhere in the post season.
Hall of Fame of losers...
Actually, I can't stand Rivers, be he played a very GOOD game yesterday. He certainly didn't get help from his teammates - missing FGs and dropping balls.
Refs continue to fuck up NFL games by not calling that a fumble, which it clearly was. It's obvious that they want these game to be super close.
there are 26 QB's in the history of the NFL with more playoff wins.
that's it. 26. Going back to the 1930's.
of the 26, 15 of them are in the HOF. Of the 11 not in the HOF another 5 or 6 of them will be (Brady, Peyton, Roethlisberger, Rodgers, Brees, maybe Eli and Russel Wilson) and that leaves about 3 or 4 QB's not in the HOF with more playoff wins than him in NFL history.
bottom line, winning in the playoffs is hard and requires a total team effort.

Well researched. Thank you
It's almost as if they were just playing for the FG and wanted the clock to expire no matter what happened.
But I may have missed something.
Had a missed FG, couldn't score and didnt get any points on the 2-3 yard line in 2nd quarter
Rivers passes on the last drive were pitiful.
I was baffled by that move. In the playoffs I think you take 3 there and keep it tight. Seemed like a bit of a jitters decision. Backfired.
As an aside: Buffalo might want to defend the middle of the field next week. Sheesh.
