This is basically Philadelphia reporters trying to drum up interest in Pederson. He has a meeting with Lurie today in Florida, and the expectation as he very well could be fired depending on his vision of the team and staff moving forward.

Not a lot of SB HCs get fired this soon after. Pedersen had an awful year, but he can develop QBs and knows offense. He should be their first choice they can take any more chances on unproven coordinators.

Why would you hire a guy that lost the respect of not only his players but players around the league as well. The Jets have tons of cap room but if you are a FA would you want to play for this guy? Don't think so. I can't see him getting a job this year. Probably best for him to sit out a year and hope things die down related to the tank.

What he did in the last game was a joke, but aside from this injury ravaged year, he’s had them in the mix and has some success.
Would be a solid hire by the Jets IMO.
As someone with no real hatred for the Jets and with many, many long suffering friends who are fans, I hope they do better than this.
