For those of you advocating Waddle....he is TINY. The whole big receiver thing I am into, but we can sign a small, fast, sturdy guy in FA for not that much in Samuel.
Yeah but can we sign one as fast or as much of a game breaker as Waddle, who’s also about as dangerous a punt returner as could be?
He’d add a much needed dimension to not imply our O but our specials as well. If Smith is gone, he’s the guy I want.
Um yea, Samuel. Although why do we need him to return punts?
Umm, because he’s great at it.
We need playmakers and he can make them in several ways. Why wouldn’t we want to use all his skills? Or anyone else’s for that matter?
Go watch some highlights. The guy is dynamic. A playmaker, and they need playmakers. He doesn't have the ideal size you'd like but he can still make game changing plays. I've seen some mocks have him as the #1 WR off the board.
Highlights? Haha, okay. 5'11 183 doesnt last long in the NFL. Wait until Jamal Adams, Jalen Ramsey or Eddie Jackson or Budda Baker gets a chance to drop him like a dirty penny
If he’s the impact guy we need go get him... I’m not letting Oshane Ximenez or BJ hill get in the way of me getting a great football player for my football team
That drive stalled because they put themselves in a 1st and 15 hole

Peppers is good at them too....plus he is about 40 lbs heavier than Waddle and wont die if he cuts the wrong way.
That have Smith going to the Giants. That just isn’t happening. No chance, He will be long gone, possibly top 5 but certainly top 10. Don’t even get our hopes up with that
I think you’re right but really hope you’re wrong about him being gone.

You really want another sprout at receiver?
If we could add a Deshaun Jackson in his prime type guy, you’d pass?
And I didn’t say Waddle was just good at returning punts, I said he was great at it. While I do think Peppers is pretty good when he’s not fair catching, I haven’t seen him be close to great there. At least not yet in Blue.
Sure, on the rare occasions he doesn't call for a fair catch. He got more and more reluctant to return the ball as the season went forward.
I honestly think he is instructed to at certain field positions. I agree with your premise that the fair catches have been curious at times, but he looks like he made them so early that it seems like Judge told him not to take chances. You remember Tiki with that shit?

Waddle is not the prospect Jackson was....ever. Never ever. And even then, Jax slipped to rd. 2.

Waddle is not the prospect DeSean Jackson is says who? You? Jaylen Waddle will most likely be drafted in the top 20 picks several slots higher then D Jax

Stop with the drafting of midgets!!!
RE: It would REALLY, REALLY, REALLY suck if the Ja'Marr Chase
Why? Philly has a billion holes. The OL is putrid, the DL is getting older than hell and they have possibly the worst secondary in the NFL. The QB situation is mind boggling. They are like $60M over the cap. If they want to spend yet another 1st rounder on a WR, that’s good for us. Who’s blocking or playing defense?
going to be an absolute stud in the NFL. I wouldn’t take him over Smith or Chase but I also wouldn’t be mad with taking him at 11. He’s not just a combine burner, his speed is obvious on the field.

Agreed. And I think it's going to work. 21-7 in a few seconds here.

Or top-3. Dolphins could use a WR...

I can’t see Sewell dropping out of the top 3, so it would have to be the Jets passing on Fields

Same. Depends on the trades. Maybe Dolphins trade for Watson...Who knows, but the next few months should be very interesting.
Yep. Second best RB in this class behind Travis Etienne Jr.
No kidding. Clothesline by Leatherby.
Oops - Najee Harris just became the “Somebody else.”
I’d give LSU an edge at QB and a slight one at OL maybe but it’s close there and everywhere else.
You prefer him over Smith? Sucks we didn’t get to watch him play this year
